This property is better than advertised! So much character in each room and very spacious for big groups. Host is very communicative and provides as much info as you need for the area. We will absolutely be back!

Thank you Mark for being a wonderful guest. You are certainly one of our very best!
Two friends and I came here for a weekend staycation – the house was absolutely perfect! It's situated very close (5 minute drive) to downtown Greenport, which we enjoyed for breakfast both mornings; and Orient Beach State Park, which is small but great for a nice, relaxing morning run. We spent Saturday at two local wineries, both of which had ample outdoor seating (though we made reservations in advance). The house was well equip for cooking in the evenings, and we particularly enjoyed the welcome basket! Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. It was a great place to relax and unwind!
Working with this host was a positive experience. The decor, finishes and amenities were on point, comfortable and well accessorized. Although the fireplaces were unfortunately temporarily inoperable at the time of our stay, all other aspects of the property were thoroughly enjoyable. The host left a very thoughtful and appreciated welcome basket. Parking and lighting were safe and convenient with automatic exterior lighting timers to ensure you do not come home to a dark property, if out for the day. The property is located close to several wineries and restaurants. We would definitely rent from this host again. They pay attention to the details. Happy holidays!

Yikes
The couch was filled with hair the more I moved the pillows around the more hair I uncovered. It was short black hair resembling pubic hair. The rooms also had left over clothes from left over guests such as bras and tops. The outdoor area was also not cleaned bugs and leaves all over the furniture. I reached out to guest she promised me refund because left a day early. She agreed as long as I didn’t leave her a bad review. Now she wants to call off the refund. I wouldn’t stay here it’s quite creepy
We enjoyed our time at this cute, comfortable house. The main road is a little busy, which made walking and biking anywhere with my young kids a little challenging. But the neighborhood is very pretty, and the location is perfect- right between Orient and Greenport.
We stayed in this charming home for several weeks over the summer and it was perfect in every way. Sofia was extremely accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed the moment we arrived. The house has amazing outdoor space, is extremely comfortable/clean and the location is perfect. I would highly recommend this adorable home!
Overall the property was beautiful, the house was clean, and the host was very easy to work with and available at all times to help with anything. The only issue was when we initially booked we were told that the house may not be available (the current person using it may extend their stay) but that we’d get upgraded to the grand Italianate property which was more expensive and bigger. We didn’t know until 11:00 the day of where we would be staying which wasn’t ideal. We ended up getting upgraded but the home wasn’t really our style. It was almost too big for the weekend we had planned and very historic looking. Additionally, the house has a tenant living in a separate part of the home. It was sectioned off/behind a locked area but we booked this hoping for a whole private house. I wish we would have known about this in advance. The owner was wonderful though so it all worked out, just wasn’t exactly what we expected.
We had a great weekend! This home is beautiful, clean and cozy. Truly a gem on the north fork. Only minutes from Greenport. Will definitely be staying again someday.
House was immaculate and the owners were so nice. Will be staying there again in the future. 5 stars

It was just what we hoped for
We stayed at the house because our daughter’s wedding was held at the Brecknock hall which was only down the block.
The house fit my family perfectly for the weekend and also for a gathering of extended family.
Sofia was helpful and very accommodating.

Wonderful Experience!
We rented Sofia's Storybook East Marion Cape for the Memorial Day weekend and loved it! As two families, each with 2 year old children, we were looking for a spacious house with a backyard for the boys to run around. Sofia's house exceeded our expectations! The house is elegantly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with all you need to cook meals and the outdoor space provides a great entertaining area with a large table, chairs and grill to enjoy a bbq and the summer breeze. A short drive to Greenport village, the house is well located. The filtered water, snacks and wine were welcome treats after a long drive! Thanks for having us stay in your beautiful house!

Beautiful house!
We had a wonderful weekend, our hosts thought of everything! From the keurig and coffee pods (decaf too!) to the milk in the fridge and the basket of goodies on the table, our every need was met. When we couldn't get the AC working to our satisfaction, it was fixed immediately. When we requested beach chairs, they appeared! And when I expressed interest in the history of the home, I was brought an historical account to look through. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

A beautiful renovated home close to many activities, including beaches, fishing, wineries
This is a lovely home one block away from both a farmers market and a nice deli and coffee shop. The home has been recently renovated and was very comfortable for the four of us. The grounds are beautiful, and we spent a lot of time in the gazebo. Dinner at the king table outside with the fireflies was also a treat. I highly recommend this home.
