Cycling and relaxing

Juan was an amazing host and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We had an fabulous 2 weeks and the location is quiet and remote. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet not so if you looking for hustle and bustle. The Finca is well equiped and very well furnished. The wood burning hot tub was a very nice touch. Definitely coming back here if we head back to Tenerife.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Das Haus entspricht in allen Teilen der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Von der großzügigen Terrasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Landschaft und das Meer und kann morgens den Sonnenaufgang genießen. Hervorzuheben sind die sehr bequemen Betten, in denen man bei völliger Stille hervorragend schlafen kann. Umgeben von Weinbergen ist es sehr ruhig und man kann herrlich entspannen. Für die etwas kühleren Abende im April gab es Wolldecken, so dass man auch abends auf der Terrasse den schönen Ausblick genießen konnte. Als besonderen Service gibt es eine Auswahl der Weine der Bodega Ferrera, die man zu einem Vorteilspreis erwerben kann. Die Übergabe erfolgte problemlos über einen Schlüsselsafe. So hatten wir ausreichend Zeit vorher noch einzukaufen. In Arafo gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und in Güímar (Polígono Industrial de Güímar) kann man bei HyperDino. Aldi und Lidl alles besorgen, was man braucht. Für die Anfahrt haben wir von Juan wertvolle Hinweise bekommen. Sie sollte über die TF-1 Ausfahrt 20 (nicht 22) weiter nördlich erfolgen. Dieser Weg ist bedeutend einfacher und führt größtenteils über befestigte Strassen durch Arafo hindurch. Wir hatte jedenfalls keine Probleme mit einem VW Polo 1.0. Das Haus liegt im Naturpark mit der dazugehörigen beeindruckenden Kraterlandschaft Caldera de Pedro Gil. Nach ein paar Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die Lavafelder. Besonders positiv ist das schnelle Internet über WLAN, wahrscheinlich nominell 100Mbit im Download Vielen Dank an Juan für die lokalen Bio-Produkte, die wir zur Begrüßung und auch zwischendurch bekommen haben. Sehr lecker! Wer Ruhe und Entspannung in der Natur sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. 100% zu empfehlen.
