An amazing location and stylish interiors combine to offer a great stay in the city.

The elegant and quirky interior have been thoughtfully put together and make for a great base for business or leisure. There is a superb view over the River Ouse from the lounge making for the ultimate people watching spot from the chaise lounge. If river views aren't your thing then there's always the LCD TV and complimentary WiFi to keep you entertained. The lounge area also features a pull out sofa bed to accommodate the occasional extra guest.

The kitchen comes with everything you'd expect like a dishwasher, washer/dryer etc. It also benefits from a 2 seater breakfast bar style dining space.

The bedroom and bathroom are both stylishly presented. The bathroom has been newly tiled and features a shower over the bath.

The bedroom is tastefully presented and also has great river views. It also has the added benefit of a 'pop up' TV built into the bed for those lazy holiday mornings.

A major plus point is also the onsite secure garage parking for 1 car. **Please note the garage is only suitable for a small car**

Quayside is a gorgeous, comfortable apartment in the heart of York! Fabulous hosts, brilliant view! Very generous hamper full of local goodies too, thank you for another fantastic stay

Great place

Lovely apartment. Interesting decor and filled with thoughtful touches throughout. Smart lighting is fun for those of us who don't have it at home. Right in the centre of town and good view out on to the river. Only negative points were that the bed is rather sinky in the middle - could perhaps do with replacing (though the frame with the TV coming out of the bottom is very exciting), and the bathroom could do with a smidge of maintenance in places. Overall, very pleased, would definitely stay again.

Very nice accommodation.Stay again

Only small issue was water from shower leaking down to floor from shower cover end towards taps.. could have done with a little more air in from windows as restricted to how much they open but we did use the fan provided as its was quiet warm the week we were there....Small issues really but wouldn't put us off from staying again as their was plenty positives overall...beautiful apartment in general....

There were no chairs only 2 settees which were very low and deep most uncomfortable. The apartment was airless and windows did not open fully. The hanging in the lobby was high.

Day at the races

Great location and view. Warm house but windows limited for fresh air. Great communication from company throughout. Apartment was very small and feels a little tired. Shower leaked quite badly each time used and could hear every floorboard creak from apartment above. Parking a bonus for York. Was very well stocked and welcome pack was lovely. Overall a nice apartment but only for very short stay.

Disappointed

I believe in giving an honest opinion ,so here goes . Location for town perfect, downside the noise on average went on till 4.30 each morning police cars average 4/5 plus ambulances. The flat it self pics very deceiving not as big you'd think ,Defoe need triple glazing, smell of mould in hall ,tv in bedroom didn't work ,light in mirror in bathroom needs replacing, Defo could do with AC in this weather ,and the two seater seats are horrendous for getting comfortable on ,also women like full length mirrors to look in . Sorry if its not what you expected to here but that works both ways kind regards wendy

Definitely worth the money

Right on the river front (ideal for people watching lol) so the views were lovely. We had 30 degree weather our full stay so the fans in the bedroom at night were a god send. We weren’t able to access Netflix on the bedroom tv like it said we could but the tv in the living room worked fine

Beautiful apartment situated in an excellent location on the River Ouse, everything about the apartment was excellent, also has its own little garage where you can park your car as everything is so close by and walking distance definately will be booking again

Flat review

Lovely flat with great view interesting contents and very well equipped but please note these comments 1.The bedroom window needs attention. It is quite old, not easy to open and the top half will not stay in place even when opened by a small amount. The same goes for the lounge window. 2.Given the view it is a pity the dining top cannot be nearer to the window to enjoy the view. it is stuck into a corner of the kitchen which is quite dark even with the lights. The dining stools were not that comfortable for me. 3.The freezer door sticks against the next unit and does not open easily. 4.After a certain time in the evening things 'kick off' on the other side of the Quayside and there is much noise and shouting into the early hours which does travel across. This happened most nights. Given the age and condition of the existing windows I think that double glazing would help!

Wonderful location

This is a great little flat in a relatively quiet part of York. Someone has gone to great effort to make it as comfortable as possible with excellent little touches we left some private feedback in the “oops” book which if implemented would make this place amazing. Just a word of caution regarding parking, we did not see at time of booking the risk of the private car park being flooded - thankfully it was not an issue however I would advise other guests who intend to use the private car park to check for flood warnings in the area before arrival.

Lovely York getaway

We had a really nice stay in this apartment, spotlessly clean and location was great with the added bonus of a garage to park the car . We enjoyed sitting looking out of the window watching the river Ouse cruise boats going up and down and people watching at the bars opposite.Central location 5 minute walk to the centre , we would definitely stay again .
