About this property

Wonderful tranquil family base with stunning views, balcony and private garden

The Lodge is the jewel of the Blankednick lets, with all amenities you could ever want for exploring Cornwall. Inside boasts a full kitchen and lounge, along with two bedrooms and bathrooms for family living! We even have an additional sofa bed in case of a snorer in the lounge!

Outside, you can enjoy the views from your own balcony, or better still your garden below with barbie and tables for evening entertainment. It really is a special place.

Blankednick is a small community tucked up in the Kennal Valley. It is within a stones throw of the A39 allowing access to virtually all of Cornwall (Falmouth takes around 10 minutes to drive, Truro 15), yet also provides a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of Cornwall. There are over 6 acres for you to explore and we love hosting well behaved dogs (up to 2 per stay). There are also three fantastic country pubs within walking distance, so summer strolls, tasty food and refreshing drinks make for great exercise.

Finally, having raised a family in Cornwall, on booking we can provide you with our fabled "making the most of your stay" guide. It outlines all the great activities that Cornwall can offer and even will give you hints and tips on how to avoid the queues!

We pride ourselves in our hosting and would recommend you checking out our reviews on Google or Facebook. We consistently are rated 5 star and work hard to ensure that your stay with us is truly memorable.

The picture is of my boys and I walking the South Coast path from Sennan through to Land's End. We just love exploring Cornwall and all the beauty it has to offer. It's a magical place.

Having spent 20 years "up-country" we decided during the pandemic, that we life is too short and we should follow a dream we have had for many years. We have roots in Cornwall, so we sold everything we own and moved to Cornwall.

We have not looked back since we have returned. What we have forgone financially, we have more made up for in quality time and experience down here. The purchase of Blankednick Farm has now put the final piece in that jigsaw and we are now able to share this beautiful part of the World with our guests.

Why they chose this property

When someone tells you that the pictures don't justify the actual place, never a truer word has been said about Blankednick. It is a stunning location with truly magnificent views. It is accessible for life, but still quietly tucked away in the Kennal Valley.

We have worked hard to make the holiday lets practical, whilst still retaining their charm, so we really hope that you are as happy staying with us, as we are living here...
