Lovely stay, great location

Really clean property with excellent facilities and we were surprised at how spacious it felt for 4 adults, 2 teens and a small dog. There was an issue with heating in the main bedroom but this didn’t affect us too much and an extra plug in was offered by the company. Would definitely look to book this again, a really short stroll into the town centre yet peaceful and a great stay

This property is well situated with easy access to a variety of walks. We had two cars and parking wasn’t a problem. The only problem was that I reported a leak from the boiler which resulted in no hot water or heating for 3 of our 4 day stay. The immersion heater didn’t work, but luckily one of the bathrooms had an electric shower. The letting agent was able to provide some electric heaters, again luckily. Obviously this was disappointing but we managed. What’s disappointing is that we have had no communication from the property owner, even via the agent. And my request for a partial refund appears to have fallen on deaf ears. Having said all that, the location of this property is great, on the whole it’s comfortable and if everything works it’s perfect for a group of adults. I wouldn’t t recommend it for children due to the steep stone steps outside.

We manage all guest communications and maintenance issues on behalf of the owner to ensure a clear, efficient resolution process. Regarding your request for a partial refund, as confirmed in our previous communications, we made an offer of compensation, authorised by the owners, which you accepted. The payment was processed on the same day. While we are always disappointed when an unexpected issue like this occurs, our primary goal was to resolve the matter and restore your comfort as quickly as possible. I apologise if you felt my frequent communication during the repair process was not sufficient. We are pleased that, despite the unexpected inconvenience, you enjoyed the property's great location and comfort. We look forward to hosting you again when everything is running perfectly.

Lovely property

Lovely rental but lounge furniture needs urgent attention the sofas are in desperate need of replacement seriously it was so uncomfortable I felt the price we paid was very unjust. We didn’t have hot water for 3/4hours after a days walking we were so disappointed. The lounge furniture ie the 2 sofas were absolutely inadequate which let the property down. We rented this property with my father who was 92 years old and we struggled with the sofas we had to use pillows to subsidise the sofas to gain any comfort.
