Peaceful and relaxing
The quiet and the birdsong. We wanted to switch off ad we did, just sitting and reading, drinking cold beers and listening to the birds. We also saw two birds of prey.

Great place to stay for a short break
We spent two nights there and used it as a base to explore dartmoor and the devon beaches. Josh was very helpful and friendly and offered for my daughter to help feed the alpacas, which she loved. She also enjoyed finding the fairy doors scattered around the site. The hut was perfect - certainly large enough for the three of us and lovely and clean. There is a pub nearby which is great too - lots of fun for the kids too.

Perfect Place, Perfect Location, Perfect Hosts.
As above, Heather and i could not fault anything about our 3 night stay, the hut was so clean, cosy and warm, the beds were extremely comfortable, all the amenities one needs for a short break from the outside world, sitting out on the decking in the mornings with a cuppa and watching the sun rise and the alpacas starting their day is just a sight to be seen. Natalie and Josh are such amazing hosts, very attentive to one's needs, nothing was to much trouble for them. Would recommend and revisit

A truly magical experience making memories.
A friendly warm welcome from Josh and Natalie, the cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the Alpacas and the feeling of calm the farm has over you.
We booked a private yoga class for myself, husband and daughter. Natalie was wonderful, we thoroughly enjoyed the session, the atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing, I commented to Natalie it should be prescribed!!
We were made to feel so welcome on the farm, we will definitely book a stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Host
Born on Dartmoor, Josh moved onto the farm in 2015, initially planning to stay only a few months while deciding where to live with his baby daughter Romy. He then met Natalie, originally from Scotland, who became his wife, along with Cerys, his future stepdaughter and Romy's future stepsister. Their shared dream was to create a peaceful retreat that reconnects guests with nature and promotes wellbeing. In 2019, they began farming alpacas, married in 2021, and opened for glamping the same year. The Big Red Bus arrived in 2022, adding to the charm. Natalie fulfilled her dream of building a yoga studio on site, reflecting her passion for wellbeing and spirituality. The family is relaxed and strives for self-sufficiency, growing their own vegetables and meat, collecting eggs, enjoying the countryside, campfires, and visits to the local pub. Natalie is a qualified yoga instructor with her own studio, while Josh dedicates himself fully to the farm, constantly seeking ways to improve the guest experience. Dartmoor Reach Alpaca Farm is now their life’s work. Guests love the warm welcome and laid back way of life.
