This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage has two queen size beds in each bedroom and one full bath. There is a full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, stove, full size refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster and everything you need to cook except for the food. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa that can sleep up to 2 additional people. The cottage is approximately 950 sq ft.

This cottage is located just 2.5 miles east of Munising on M-28. It is close to all area attractions. It is part of the Alger Falls Motel so there is someone on site from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. if you need additional housekeeping items of any kind or area information.

Cute cabin in a great location. 5 min drive to main street of Munising where you can find shops, restaurants, and local tours. Easy drive to pictured rocks hiking areas and other recreation spots. We'll stocked kitchen and good sized bedrooms and bathroom.

Very cute cozy cabin, close to pictured rocks and trails, the cabin cost less for our 3 night stay than a hotel room. Definitely recommend this cabin! We had 3 adults and brought our own food- kitchen set up nicely for cooking meals.

This cabin is really easy to find, it’s right off the main road into Munising, literally 3-5 mins from downtown. It’s right next door to a motel where you can check in and out at the office, and get any extra linens that you need. The office also has a coffee maker and bottled drinks for sale. Our bathroom faucet broke our first night and it was addressed promptly by the host, and fully replaced the next day. The cabin amenities are basic, but clean and comfortable. It made a perfect home base for exploring the area as a family. It was also peaceful and quiet despite being off a fairly busy road and having another cabin next to it.

We (2 couples) enjoyed the two bedroom cabin very much. You check in at the Alger Falls motel and Checkin went smooth. It was spacious and clean and the kitchen was very well stocked as we made breakfast and lunches. The bathroom was good sized and spacious. They provided bars of soap as well as packets of shampoo and conditioner. There was also a blow dryer in the bathroom and plenty of towels. The location was convenient for pictured rocks and other day trips in the area. It was nice and quiet at night and I slept great! I highly recommend this cabin and I would stay there again.

This cabin was perfect for a long weekend. It is very conveniently located to many trails at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I have owned the Alger Falls Motel for over 20 years. Prior to that, my parents owned it for 25 years.

Why they chose this property

This cottage is part of 2 cottages that are part of the motel. This particular one was built new in 2010. We also have a smaller one that has 2 bedrooms with one double bed in each room. This one was completely remodeled since we've been here.

What makes this property unique

With this rental, you will have front desk service that you expect from a motel. Upon arrival, you will be able to check in at the front desk and be able to talk to someone in person if you have any questions about the area. Also, if you have an issue with your unit or need any additional amenities, they will be available to you on site during office hours.
