Modern Oceanfront Condo decorated by Artist

This 1,020 sq ft condo is a 5 star property adjacent to The Strand, an exclusive new beachfront community in Dana Point. The large 200 foot patio and the great room both face the ocean with fabulous coastal views. This is the best that it gets! You can relax on the patio with a drink and WATCH THE WAVES and if you are lucky, you can see the dolphins playing in the surf. In the evening, you can watch the sunset over the ocean. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to look at available dates.

The pictures here represent ”Casa Moderna“ which has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other a queen . The unit has 1.5 baths. Our other unit in the same building VRBO 305471 has two full baths and two king beds. These two condos can be combined offering a family or friends 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. All have been recently renovated and are equipped with modern furniture and original art.
These downstairs units have large oceanfront patios facing North on one of the most beautiful coasts in the United States.

The patio doors lead into the great room with an open kitchen and dining room. It is located on the ground floor. There are no stairs. The unit is handicap accessible and is completely furnished with everything you need for a fabulous vacation.

On thé large patio there is a large table and four chairs as well as two chaise lounges. The patio has a barbecue where you can prepare dinner as you watch the sunset or, if you are lucky, see some dolphins or whales as they migrate.

The unit overlooks Strands Beach . We are just 1/4 mile south of the famed Ritz Carlton Hotel and Salt Creek Beach Park. We are located adjacent to the path to the beach on top of the bluff. Our view is fabulous. It is very quiet, peaceful and safe. It is truly one of the most unforgetable spots you will ever find. The condo is furnished impeccably and has everything you could need for a vacation. You may even think you are staying at the Ritz Carlton.

The property is a fourplex and I live in one of the units. They are all approximately 1,000 sqft and all face the ocean with fabulous whitewater views. Occasionally a guest may want to stay longer and we try to accommodate them. In these cases, we ask for your understanding if we have to move you to a sister unit (renting for the same amount). We loved our stay at Dana Strand! The view surpasses the Ritz Carlton—pictures don’t capture its beauty. Mom's 89th back to childhood Dana Point

Wonderful trip and Jill went above and beyond to ensure we had a property that would accomodate my mom and her needs ( shower as my mom's mobility is very limoted and a bath tub/shower wasn't gonna work for her. Fresh flowers awaited and all was amazing.

Such a beautiful piece of our California coast and ocean ! The homeowner has created a wonderful place for her guests. Very well decorated ...comfortable....clean and easy to access.We look forward to returning :) ...The only thing needing attention is the host's phone number listed on Vrbo....it isn't accurate with the host's actual phone number. Luckily the accurate phone number was available in the rental.

I am a Ph.D. geneticist as well as a local artist. I was a researcher/professor at a medical school and president of two biotechnology companies and then started painting about 5 years ago. I now spend my time as an artist. I have won awards in competitions and was a Past President of the San Clemente Art Association. All of the units have original art - either my own or that of my mother. I hope you enjoy the art in each unit and if you are interested you can ask to see my art studio upstairs. Some of the art is for sale. Please ask if interested in purchasing.

These condos have the best views in Dana Point. They are located in the exclusive neighborhood of The Strands overlooking 1/2 mile of beach and over 2 miles of hiking trails. Our neighbors are living in 15-20 million dollar homes. You will love the area and our units. We have many repeat visitors.

What makes this property unique

The view from our property is one of the best of the California coast. This beautiful piece of heaven overlooks the Strands Beach and multimillion dollar homes. The waters below boast surfers and dolphins riding the waves.. The location and view is spectacular and you will not be disappointed.
