Charming, Spacious Dog-Friendly Holiday Rental with 2 Houses & Large Heated Pool

This dog-friendly accommodation consists of 2 houses, 5 metres apart, in their own discreet location at the end of a country lane. They are rented as a single property (both houses are included in the price), in a secluded garden with a large heated pool, situated near the small hamlet of Lage, close to Vanzay, Lezay and Couhé, which provide a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Over half of our bookings come from guests who have stayed with us previously. Many tell us that they return because the property is, quite simply, the best equipped of any they have stayed in, ever. We provide a range of bicycles, table tennis, beach games etc.; there are 2 bbqs in different areas. The large (9x5) alarmed pool has Roman steps at the shallow end, to facilitate safe entry by children and the elderly and it is heated by an ecologically friendly air-sourced heat pump. Summers in this region are typically very warm, but of course it can rain. For those days we provide indoor games, internet, tv, satellite (tuned to UK stations), dvds and - books!

Because the area is so unspoiled, there are many wild animals that you will enjoy seeing. You are almost certain to come across deer, hare, loir (edible dormice) and birds of prey, but you may also see beech marten, little owl and the occasional stone curlew!

4 bedrooms: Large main bedroom with large double bed, additional single bed. Second bedroom with twin beds, mezzanine area with double bed. Large twin bedroom in annexe.
