Enjoy a relaxing holiday in France in this comfortable and spacious house. With easy access to Melle, Chef Boutonne and Lac Le Lambon. Day trips to La Rochelle, Rochefort, Niort, Poitiers, Angoulême, Saintes, Verteuil sur Charente and Marais Poitevin.

4 double / twin bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. A large family kitchen, large living room with smart TV & DVD player, separate dining room, laundry room and downstairs toilet. Wi-Fi. Outside there is a large terrace, 6x4 swimming pool, table, chairs, sun loungers and barbecue. Bed linen provided.

Important: House can sleep 4, 6 or 8 people - please note when you select for +4 people you will need to pay extra guest fees for the second floor and 1 or 2 extra bedrooms to be prepared for you.

Beautiful house in rural France

The minute we walked in we were stunned, the pictures honestly dont do it justice. The house is huge and the garden is spacious and beautiful. We cant recommend this house enough, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved every second.

We're a family from the North West of England, we love France and in 2019 decided to buy a second home there and we love visiting for relaxing holidays.

Why they chose this property

The area is beautiful and green but is also know for it's good weather. We're close enough to visit the coast near La Rochelle and cities including Niort, Limoges, Angouleme, and Poitiers, and we like the mix of both.

What makes this property unique

We've carefully restored the property, but also made it relaxing for a comfortable stay. The outdoor garden area, terrace and pool make it easy to stay in on sunny days and there's load of beautiful walks to do from the house, but we're also close to two great towns Chef Boutonne and Melle for good markets, shops, bars and restaurants. For watersports we go to Lac Lambon just a short drive away.
