About this property

"A fabulous house in a beautiful part of the world"

A 4 bedroom property that sleeps up to 8 people. Generously proportioned accommodation with large outdoor space and secure gardens. Panoramic views of rolling hills, farmland and a view of the coast and Holy Island. Ideal location for cyclists, walkers, golfers and those who just want to relax.

Situated in the pretty hamlet of Warenton, it's a short drive to Bamburgh and the local amenities of Belford. Twenty minutes to either Berwick-upon-Tweed or Alnwick.

In detail, the outside of the property offers a large driveway, enough for 3 cars and additional road-side parking. There's an out-house in the drive for the storage of bicycles, surfboards and other equipment. Next to that is a log store.

The main front garden stretches along the side of the village road. Views of Holy Island can be enjoyed at the bottom of the garden from the decked area. At the back of the cottage is a small enclosed garden which offers an ideal sun-trap during the late afternoon. The washing line and a charcoal BBQ can also be found here.

Inside, the cottage is spacious and bright offering a large dining kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, large fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The kitchen table seats 8 people.

A separate utility room provides a large Belfast sink, an additional double oven, freezer, microwave and wine fridge. Beyond the utility room is a boiler room which houses a washer, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and vacuum. The back door leads out to the rear garden.

The large sitting room offers a place to relax in front of the wood-burning stove. The large flat-screen TV features Netflix, Amazon Prime and Freeview.

There is also a downstairs cloakroom.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms:

- Master bedroom with super-king bed, large flat-screen TV. Ensuite bathroom with shower

- Double bedroom with king-size bed

- Two twin bedrooms

All the bedrooms feature a chest of drawers and hanging space. Bed linen and towels are provided. Hairdryers can be found in the Master bedroom and the King bedroom.

The house bathroom offers twin wash basins, a walk-in rain-shower and a large jacuzzi bath.

Up to 2 dogs are allowed in the property but we ask that they do not go upstairs or on the furniture. Dogs should not be left in the house unattended.

A superb stay
This break was booked for three generations of our family to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday - accompanied by Mum's ever-faithful dog! There were a lot of boxes to tick when sourcing a suitable property, but 'Skyfall' came out top of the shortlist, and delivered beyond our expectations! The location is beautiful: rural, peaceful, with amazing views from the seating areas of the large, lawned front garden; whilst the privacy of the paved, back courtyard is a perfect, quiet retreat. The house is stunning: spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, stylishly decorated & furnished to the highest standards, equipped with everything you could need - and more! Service and communication with the owner was very prompt, clear, helpful and friendly from start to finish. We were sad to leave; we would love to return; and we cannot recommend this property highly enough...
