As a family with young kids we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
After a long drive in heavy traffic it was so lovely to see the welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and dare I say the most delicious cake in the history of cakes. We have two young kids so the night lights around the cottage were such a blessing. The cottage itself looks recently renovated, clean, tidy and spacious. The garden has a lovely seating area and on cooler days it was good to sit in the conservatory. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. There is a small shop and a pub serving food within walking distance. Our kids enjoyed feeding the fish in the garden pond. There is plenty to do in the locality of the cottage. We only spent one week there but there is enough to do for a two week stay.. The owners responded quickly to any contact from us and even kindly made a suggestion for a family day out for us. I would highly recommend this cottage.
