We have always enjoyed property development and restoring old property to improve functionality whilst retaining character and charm.
We have restored and renovated a number of properties over the years. Driftwood Loft was initially completed in 2010/11, however it has been extensively refurbished in 2021 again. Whilst our children have been involved in these renovations when they were younger they preferred to build forts and dams in the rivers and climb trees than to pursue skills in property development. Although one of our sons has pursued tree surgery and tree climbing as a career. So the skills he has learned during his "me time" at the cottage has served as useful to his career.
We enjoy hearing of guests who have achieved quality family time with their loved ones at the cottage and in the area, because whilst it is in a place with the caption "a place which time forgot", we hope that you get the chance to build memories with your family which YOU will now forge
