Short break at Sidmouth

This was a great property to wake up to in the morning and perfectly situated for coming back to a hot shower after a dip in the sea and going out for a great meal after said shower. Amanda and Pete were very attentive hosts and staying at their property added to a wonderful visit. We will be back both to Sidmouth and to Chapel Mews.

Both myself and my husband Peter grew up in Exeter and East Devon, We converted and renovated the old Church Hall into Chapel Mews in 2019 - 2021 and decided to keep No2 as we fell in love with the properties, and of course we already loved Sidmouth as do so many of the locals of Devon.

Why they chose this property

2 Chapel Mews is a historic building but with all the benefits of a modern house. Tucked away in a quiet side street in the heart of Sidmouth yet only meters away from the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars and only 200 meters level walk from the beach. the cottage also has a free allocated parking space right outside.

What makes this property unique

2 Chapel Mews makes the perfect location for a holiday to East Devon, tucked away in a quiet location yet a short stroll from the beach and the town with all it has to offer.
With a free allocated parking outside your door (which is a rare thing in centre of Sidmouth) you are free to leave the car and wander to your hearts content.
The South West Coast Path leads off from either end of the Esplanade giving wonderful walks through the beautiful Devon countryside and stunning views of the Jurassic Coast.
