Lovely Cottage lived up to its name in every way. Spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, with a fully stocked kitchen and a lovely back garden with outdoor seating. The cottage is conveniently located for visiting the Cotswolds. Stephen and Shirley are responsive and helpful. Don’t miss eating at the Double Red Duke, a five minute walk down the street!
Lovely cottage beautifully kept and with warm and welcoming hosts. The cottage is deceptively large, clean and well presented.
It has 2 good size bedrooms, a nice kitchen and lovely small garden. We will definitely return.
Lovely property, clean and welcoming, in a beautiful location within easy reach of pretty Cotswold villages and Oxford.
Good communication with hosts Stephen and Shirley.
Highly recommended.
We spent 4 nights at the 2 bedroomed cottage in Clanfield and wished we had booked for longer.
Shirley greeted us on arrival and had a roaring fire going in the sitting room. She was a charming hostess and nothing was too much trouble.
There were flowers and grapes on the coffee table, a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and a cake and bowl of fruit on the kitchen table.
The whole cottage is beautifully decorated and filled with stunning furniture, paintings and ornaments.
Best place we’ve ever rented. We’ll definitely be back.
Thank you Shirley.
This is such a lovely place to stay while exploring the Cotswolds. The house is both pretty and comfy; Shirley and Stephen are delightful and responsive. The local places have great food - cannot recommend Blake’s Kitchen highly enough - so there’s no need to cook but the kitchen has everything you need if you do. Would return here if I ever get the chance!
Tidbit: Google Maps will tell you to turn on Mill Lane. Don’t! Farmer’s Court is off Main Street. Whatever you do, don’t follow GPS to The Green. Trust me on this.
