High up in the hills in Théoule-sur-Mer, this is a 3-bedroom holiday home offering stunning sea views. There are a shared swimming pool and a shared tennis court to have fun outdoor. You can stay here in comfort with a family or 6 persons.

The holiday home is located near the forest of Esterel with its rugged coastline and beautiful hiking trails. You can easily reach the sea, sandy beach, restaurants, cafes and harbors. The town centre and supermarkets are at 1.5 km. Nice places to visit are the fashionable Cannes, Monaco's capital Monte Carlo, the perched village of Eze, the perfume capital of Grasse and the quaint town of Mandelieu.

The holiday home has a fireplace in the living room to enjoy the fire on the colder evenings. Freshly prepared meals and cosy barbecues can be savoured in the verandah. To relax, you can walk straight onto the terrace, which offers a beautiful sea view. At night, you can take a leisurely walk in the fenced garden. The house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Bucht. Die Terasse ist ringsherum begrünt, so dass man die unmittelbar angrenzenden Nachbarn nicht sieht. Leider war fast täglich Baulärm oder Lärm bei Gartenarbeiten von eines der vielen Nachbargrundstücke zu hören, auch Fluglärm störte. Nachts war es ruhig. Das Haus war im Wohn/Küchenbereich im EG praktikabel und einfach eingerichtet. Im großen Schlafzimmer im 1. OG und in dem winzigen dunklen Kinderzimmer und dem sehr kleinen und dunklen Schlafzimmer im EG fehlten Schränke und Stühle als Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung. Ein Auto ist unverzichtbar. Fußläufig sind der Strand oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur schwer zu erreichen. Der Gemeinschaftspool war sauber und gepflegt, Ende Mai war das Kinderbecken nicht gefüllt. Am Pool gab es keine Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Für uns als Paar mit Hund, war das Haus perfekt. Sehr schön eingerichtet und alles ist da, was man braucht. Die Aussicht auf's Meer ist traumhaft, man hat Privatsphäre im Garten. Der Pool ist etwas weit weg vom Haus. Und der Nachbar links, direkt angrenzend war sehr laut und ständig handwerklich etwas am bohren, sägen etc. sonst wäre unser Urlaub perfekt gewesen. Die Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus, mit Meerblick waren sehr schön.

Wat een heerlijk huis en wat een fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn op zaterdagmiddag warm onthaald door Barbara. Ze liet ons het huis zien en gaf daarbij uitleg over het gebruik. Het huis is echt van alle gemakken voorzien, niet zo groot als je van de foto's zou verwachten, maar groot genoeg. Wij waren maar met z'n tweeën en hadden daarom ruimte in overvloed -). Barbara had voor ons flessen met water in de koelkast gelegd, heerlijk koud dus. Na het uitladen van de auto naar het nabij gelegen Mandelieu waar een hypermarkt (Geant Casino) met alles wat je maar nodig kunt hebben en nog veel meer is gevestigd. Daarna terug naar het huis. Iedere avond zaten we op het terras te genieten van Franse lekkernijen en het fenomenale uitzicht op een verlicht Cannes. Alle avonden was het ook heerlijk rustig, avn geluidsoverlast door buren is geen sprake geweest. Ook 's morgens het ontbijt op het terras en verbazen over de grote luxe jachten die uit de haven van Cannes vertrokken. Zo'n mooi uitzicht hebben wij nog niet eerder op een vakantieadres gehad. Wat ik ook op wil merken is dat (in ieder geval) het bed in de master bedroom geweldig is. Vanuit die kamer heb je ook weer dat geweldige uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee en Cannes. Omdat het huis rondom van rolluiken is voorzien is het prima donker te maken en hebben wij ook heerlijk uitgeslapen. Het huis is tegen een vrij steile berg gebouwd. Van wandelen is daar ook niet veel van gekomen. Naar beneden gaat nog wel, maar naar boven vergt een goede conditie. Zelf ben ik éénmaal via de trap naar het strand beneden gelopen (18 minuten). De terugweg duurde met een kleine omweg (verkeerd gelopen) het dubbele en was zwaar. Voor mensen met een matige conditie (bijna) niet te doen. Om te fietsen is het ook te steil, een auto heb je nodig. Het zwembad is maar twee minuten lopen en tijdens ons verblijf (begin september) was het niet druk, maar goed van temperatuur. Bij lange na niet zo koud als de zwembaden van veel resorts/hotels in Turkije of Spanje/Portugal. Het was die week prachtig weer en daarom hebben we ook veel aan het strand gelegen. Bij de strandtenten kun je heerlijke strandbedden huren (17,0 per dag) en ook heerlijk lunchen. Eenvoudig, maar ook luxueus. Voor elk wat wils. Op maandag een trip naar Frejus gemaakt. Een aanrader wanneer je de kustweg pakt. Vanaf het huis naar beneden rijden en dat rechtsaf. Prachtig en zeker de moeite waard. Op die maandag was er een grote markt in Frejus en na een heerlijk uitgebreide lunch daar nog een paar uur op het strand en weer terug via de kustweg. Regelmatig uitgestapt om van het mooie uitzicht te genieten en foto's te maken. Het bezoek aan Cannes viel wat tegen. Vanwege een Yaught Festival was de haven afgesloten. Natuurlijk wel even flaneren over de boulevard en kijken naar de echt rijken der aarde -) Tot slot wil ik nog een bezoek aan het bergdorp Ezé aanbevelen. De weg er naar toe (snelweg en dwars door Nice, wat helemaal niet zo nice is, viel wat tegen. Onderaan het oude bergdorpje stand dacht ik nog is dit het. Maar eenmaal boven waren we beide blij dat we zijn gegaan. Wat een prachtig bergdorpje, met een echt prachtig aangelegde tuin en heel veel bijzondere winkeltjes waar je prachtige en echt bijzondere spullen kunt kopen. Je moet wel bereid zijn je portemonnee te trekken, want prijzig zijn die kunstige spulletjes wel. Veel hebben we niet gekocht, maar des te meer genoten. Al met al hebben kijken wij terug op een heerlijke vakantie in een mooie omgeving. Maar vooral hebben we genoten van het huis en het fenomenale uitzicht. De tv en radio zijn niet aan geweest -).
