Cosy characteristic 3 story listed building , beautiful well kept sunny garden leading down to a tidal creek. All home comforts, both bedrooms have an en-suites loo and sink.
Train and bus services walking distance, a few pubs, many types of takeaways food round the corner. Enchanting harbour, some seasonal boat trips run , launching ramp etc.
London and Canterbury easy by train Whitstable for oysters and several beaches on the island or short drive away.

We had a really lovely stay at the cottage - the owners have kept the character of the listed building but with very welcome modern touches. The sitting room is very comfortable (though with lovely weather, we spent our time in the garden); the kitchen is well-equipped. There were thoughtful little touches (some fresh milk in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table). Both bedrooms are spacious and have an ensuite loo and sink; there is a separate bathroom downstairs. The garden is pretty and there is a table plus garden chairs on the patio. Watching the tide come in and out in the creek at the bottom of the garden was an absolute highlight. The gate to the side of the creek was securely padlocked which was very reassuring as we had a child with us. We couldn't find anything to fault and would love to go back.

This house really is a beautifully renovated building, and was very comfortable for a family to stay in. The lounge, kitchen and bathroom are roomy and well-laid out, much more than we’d expected from the pictures. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking with a good sized kitchen table. The garden is lovely, sitting out overlooking the creek was very relaxing. The two bedrooms are up very steep spiral stairs, with the master being large, and the top room also good for the children, although with sloping eaves, both with en suites. There is no Wifi, but we had excellent phone reception. A very comfortable place to stay with the creekside very near by and a couple of pubs within walking distance.

Pleasant seeing the water rise and fall.
A few minutes walk to food places. About the same distance to a park and swale inlet for boating and shipping. Steps are steep but we are 70's and handled it. We never used the third floor bedroom but its there if needed. Would be better with wifi and washing machine. Otherwise good!

Lovely Cottage
The cottage was very comfortable and attractive, with every convenience to meet our needs. The lovely garden was a bonus. The only thing missing for us was WiFi, but only a miner inconvenience
