We had a wonderful time at this house. Literally steps from the path to the beach. Very well stocked with the essentials as described. We had 8 adults and 3 little girls who enjoyed every minute. The host sent very clear instructions for everything we needed including beach badges. Plenty of room to sleep, eat, and relax. The host was very responsive to any questions I had.

Right on the beach!

The house is as advertised- right in the beach. The house has an open floor plan on the main level which makes for easy living. The host was very responsive to our needs. I'd definitely recommend!

What an amazing Harvey Cedars location. The oceanview was beautiful. Beach was not crowded and everyone was so nice. House was stocked and clean. It was great to bring our pet and we could walk to the park. We biked to lighthouse and back 12miles and walked every day.

Location was perfect.

The house was exactly what we were looking for. We had a two year old with us and a long walk to the beach would have been a problem. The house is on the dune with amazing views. The property was clean and really well maintained. The owners were very responsive, accommodating, and made the whole process simple. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

A Rare Thumbs-Up from an ENTIRE Family.

We loved both the layout and the location. On our last night together I asked everyone, "Should we look to return here next year?" The response was a unanimous "YES!!!"(While the top patio floor needs treatment and the king bed in the master bedroom should be moved for easier access on both sides, these were minor issues for us.)Will be in touch.

Wow, just a super house with a great location. Everything was like the listing stated and then some. Short walk to the ocean and the bay. The north end of the island was always our favorite and being at such a nice house with our dogs was priceless. Thanks for having us!

Overall beautiful home. Very clean. New appliances in kitchen (I even had to remove styrofoam packaging from inside the dishwasher). Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. John was near immediate with any inquiries.

MOST IMPORTANTLY I would definitely rent here again. There were lots of things that made this property a great one: the view and sound of the ocean can't be beat!!; the beach chairs and umbrellas provided were like new; the grill was large and had plenty of propane; and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Things contributed to my 4-star (good) rather than 5-star rating (excellent): paint on baseboards and some doors has seen better days (maybe those were the days at the beginning of the season); upstairs couch and downstairs stuffed chair were stained and worn; there were no screens to the sliding doors that opened to the decks; several windows (with screens) were broken such that they could not be opened; a couple window shades were broken; large portions of paint on the upper deck chairs were flaking off; and it would have been nice to have the decks and outdoor stairs swept between renters.

Tiny ant issue but found sprays under sink - so not new. Toaster oven door falling apart. Kitchen can use update. Bottom drawer handle by sink broken - not by us. Perfect location! Confusion with bed sizes - found another sleeper in living room.

Lovely location

This is our second time to this house and we all feel like the house is such a relaxing and comfortable layout. It feels cozy and yet has plenty of space and beautiful views. We spent so much time on the big, super-comfy couch on the deck. And the large sectional sofa in the living room was also a great spot to hangout and enjoy the gorgeous view. The smaller downstairs living room and lower deck were cozy alternates for anyone who needed a quiet spot to read away from the chatting/cooking/games upstairs. The house was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped, but it definitely does show some wear and tear. In some ways, that makes it feel more comfortable having our dog and little kids there, but there were some things- appliances, etc- that just really needed attention/repair.

Beautiful Ocean Paradise

First, would definitely go back again! 1000%! Here are some thoughts: Pros: -Beautiful view of the ocean right from the patio! -Patio has a large table and outdoor sofa that is extremely comfy and a perfect place to gather -Weber grill with all the tools for amazing outdoor grilling -Very short walk from the downstairs balcony to the beach! -Three nice bedrooms for adults and one bunk bed room for kids (we had adults stay there and they also were happy in that room) -All the appliances you would need , including vacuum, Keurig, washer, dryer, etc. -Beautiful rooms and environment -Quick responses from property manager who answered all questions promptly -Easy check in and check out with full instructions. Cons: None that were really a deal breaker and I loved the place and would rent from there again! A/C in the upper front room struggles a little to cool a room filled with sun and windows, but the rest of the house is beautifully cool! If you open the sliding glass doors upstairs, the sea breeze usually keeps that front room cool enough. Some things to consider: -Remember to bring towels and sheets. The cost to rent them is high and you might be able to buy them for a lot cheaper. We rented and it was super easy! -Beach chairs and umbrella need to be bought or rented. We used a place called Luggers who set up (and took down) our stuff every day and gave us the weather and tide report. I LOVED that. - Go to the property before you go shopping. Sometimes the folks renting before you may have left some things such as salt and pepper or dish and laundry detergent that you then don't need to buy. -Bring in the cushions from the deck at night because they get full of condensation overnight and are VERY wet in the morning (and it may rain overnight). All in all, an amazing location, and great house that made our vacation a great one!
