Quirky, spacious, well-located
An amazing and imaginative conversion of a modern farm building providing spacious, clean and well-located accommodation in the beautiful New Forest. Never having visited the area before we did not know where to base ourselves. We certainly struck it lucky. The open plan ground floor has a clean and modern kitchen, comfortable sofas and a TV that took a younger person to understand how to operate! (Helpfully, we had one with us!) The outside space is beautifully planted, dog secure and ideal for sitting in the sun and taking in the view of the lovely larch tree copse. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms with comfortable double beds, one with an en suite bathroom and the other with an ensuite shower room. Between these is a study/landing area larger than many bedrooms! Again, a lovely place to sit and look at the trees and with the softest rug I had ever felt. All is decorated with a combination of the old and the new in a very funky style - we loved the quirkiness. All this set on a farm with goats, chickens, pigs, cows, horses, and honesty shop and really lovely hosts. We are grateful that Vicky allowed us to stay on past our departure time to watch the Queen's funeral - very thoughtful; thank you. (I told my husband I was writing a review and he said don't say too many nice things or everyone will want to go and we won't be able to book to return!!)
