We loved the location - so convenient to visit all the sites of Old San Juan. Note, it is essentially right around the corner from a very busy bar scene, so expect crowds, noise, and people/traffic - especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We arrived on a Saturday evening and that made getting in and parked with our rental car tricky, but once we were settled in, things were great. This house has A LOT of unique charm to it. There was plenty of space for us (group of 8). The host was great at communicating. As others have noted, hot water doesn’t really happen here, the best we got was “not cold”, so count on short showers. Parking is in a public lot a few blocks away. It only took us a few minutes to walk from parking to the house, but as noted above, it did take us a really long time to drive to the parking when we arrived Saturday evening because of the bar crowds. If you are renting a car, I recommend not arriving on a weekend evening. Also, instead of a keyless entry like many rentals have, we were given a physical key. This worked fine, but required some coordination when our group split up going to different places - having to make sure the people who would get back to the house first had they key because you definitely don’t want to leave it unlocked.
