Had plenty of room for all 15 people to sleep. Had plenty of extra pillows, sheets and blankets. They had all the essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean!! I would recommend for large families like myself

Everything was amazing! The location and the house itself. Perfect size for our group. Everyone had an awesome time and we enjoyed the accommodations. Kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels. Having access to a washer and dryer was a plus too - although we only needed the dryer. Would definitely book this home again!

Not too far from the beach

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house very much. The house had a bit of maintenance issues, but management sent someone to work on it very promptly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great spot!

Great property and very cozy. I would give 4.5 if I could. There were small deficiencies/inconveniences (kids tv didnt work, holes on ceiling in master bedroom etc) but the staff and maintenance crews were very on point and responsive. We would rent again next year if house is available.

We had no tv in the living room at all. Direct TV didn't work. Only 2 TVs worked in the bedrooms. No extra blankets. The bathrooms were dirty and the rugs were so dirty I washed them myself. I did call the office and the receptionist was nice, but there was no follow through. The bunkbeds were broken and taped in different areas the maintenance guy said they should be attached to the wall, but he wasn't doing it. He was very rude. The grill was so rusted we couldn't cook on it; they told me they would bring a new one and it was rusted as well. The back yard is awful. I was told they would power wash the deck furniture the cushions had mold on them. I had 6 grandkids with me. NOTHING is like the AI picture online. Ive talked to them 3 or 4 times about all of this. I was so disappointed. We smelled gas often when we used the oven. The kitchen drawers haven't been cleaned out in a long time We all felt like the repair man was mad cuz we wanted things repaired. The water in the downstair shower was hot only; the master bathroom was cold only. We pay a lot I expect it to at least be what they say it is. I can't think of anything I liked there. Pretty sure there should be smoke detectors in the house.

Our maintenance team responded promptly each time you contacted us, making multiple trips to the home to address the concerns you reported. We stand behind the professionalism and responsiveness of our staff throughout your visit. For future guests, we'd like to clarify a few points. The charcoal grill was fully functional. While the cast-iron grate had surface rust due to the coastal environment, this did not affect its use. Nevertheless, we delivered a brand-new charcoal grill during your stay to ensure you had a positive experience. The water heater was functioning properly throughout the reservation, and no issues were found during or after your stay. With a group of 12 guests, hot water recovery between consecutive showers can take additional time, but the system operated as intended. The television issue was addressed and resolved during your stay, and the bunk beds were inspected, tightened, and confirmed to be secure. We also found no evidence of mold as described. We welcome honest feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. However, we also believe it's important that future guests receive an accurate representation of both the property and the responsive service they can expect from our team.

Beach house- needs updates

My family and I stayed here and had a really nice time. There were no extra blankets though and no serving bowls for meals. Also the tile in the master bedroom and bathroom is loose/cracked and in need of repair. We had a large group and could have used more seating in the living room but we made it work. We really enjoyed the porch and the outdoor shower sprayer was great for spraying off sand. The beds were just ok, not super comfy. The house is definitely spacious though and gave our group plenty of room!

We were unable to use the living room TV since the Direct TV remote was missing. It took three days to finally get one delivered. Otherwise everything was fine

Senior Trip

ALL of the pictures were crooked which was unsettling to me. The shower downstairs leaked fairly bad. The grills (both) were pretty nasty and needed a fair amount of cleaning before use. I don't believe the gas grill had gas - it wouldn't start. The bed in the downstairs bedroom sank in the middle and squeaked with every movement, it would be impossible for discreet intimacy. The location was great! Exactly 1 mile to the beach. A 20 min walk. The location was also great in relevance to town. Overall, it was a good trip.

Everything was great except there was no Tv Service. The Directv had no signal and there was no local tv antenna. We tried resetting the Directv, but it still said no signal. Someone reached out asking if everything was ok and we told them about the Tv. They asked us to send pictures of the error message, so we did, but no one ever showed up to fix it. 7 days with 2 children and no tv. Other than that, everything was good.

Easy Peasy

Very nice and clean property. Communication was great. Easy clean up expectations. Only problem was not with the house but the frat boys across the street (but it was Spring Break). Email and listing said to bring extra TP and paper towels, but if you are like us bring extra laundry and dish soap too! Very pleasant experience. And again the house was very clean.

SandFest getaway

Upon arrival we had to double check the address as it didn’t look the same as the picture listed. It was freshly painted on the outside and looked great! The house itself was very functional and had everything we needed for our stay at Port A. I’d definitely recommend this to friends!

Comfortable but not fancy

The location and fundamentals of the house are sound. However, it is due for some upgrading. There were really nice toiletries in the baths, but the downstairs shower was cramped with a cracked shower pan. It would be nice if they could have a downstairs master suite, but I understand that would be a major remodel. My daughter enjoyed the big king size bed, upstairs, for herself, while my husband, with two knee replacements, and I stayed in the queen downstairs. The kitchen needs Maria Kondo to come in. There are so many coffee cups, but no salad bowels. There was one dish towel but nothing to clean the dishes with, unless you wanted to use the brush that looked as if it was used to clean the BBQ grill. We used paper towels. Luckily we brought our own. The yard was perfect for our dogs. They had plenty of shade, but spent most of their time on the porch. We had to drive to the beach, the access road was to far to walk to, especially with the dogs. This turned out fine as there were so few people on the beach and it was easy to get a spot. We needed a place that accepted dogs, so didn’t have a lot of options. I personally feel this rental is over priced, but it met our needs. We’d hoped more family would join us, but just the three of us really got to spread out and relax. We enjoyed our stay.

Family vacation

The property management company was very communicative before my arrival! The house was very spacious for our large family. We love hanging out in the deck and utilizing the grill. The house needs some updating like couch, mattress, and bathrooms. Overall a great experience and thanks for having us!
