This hand build Tropical Hardwooden Beach House is a piece of art. It is located 3 steps from the ocean water and has an infinity pool at the edge of the terrace. It is a fresh water pool with a salt filter. This location is according to many visitors the best on the island. Not far from it all but in the nature and very quiet. The ocean life here is fantastic. Dolphins, Rays, Turtles frequent the location together with 460 sorts of fish and 2 coral reefs are in your back yard. It is good swimming, snorkling and diving right from the deck. Dive spots Hilma Hooker, The Lake and Punt Vierkant are at swimming distance away. The house is very spacious and cool due to it's wooden structure with air flow system.
All bedrooms are air conditioned, there is a good trade wind coming straight from the east coast without any obstructions and the kitchen is very well stocked with high end equipment. The house has high end furniture and fit out.
The house was built in 2015-2016 and is owned by a Belgian family. It is a unique opportunity to have this as your holiday residence .. I have travelled all over the Caribbean and know it is very very hard to find an eco private beach front house with an infinity pool right ON the ocean water certainly at this price... Eco house 3 was everything that was described plus more! The pictures do not do it justice! Beautiful views out every window! I loved how open the whole house was. We enjoyed many hours in the pool and snorkeling every day. If you are looking for a place to stay...this is it! Hayte Jr and Sam were very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Our original plan was to eat out every night...the kitchen was so nice we made many meals at the house instead. Snorkeling in front was top notch! We went to another beach to snorkel and came back because we decided we had the best spot. We enjoyed ourselves so much...we booked for the same time next year!

Beautiful home, perfect location

This villa was perfect! In addition to the obvious beauty of the home and the views, the Villa is walking distance to a great bar/ restaurant (Ocean Oasis) and just a very short drive to Buddy Dive. While there were people in the villas to the left and right, I never felt that my privacy was impacted in any way and both families were very friendly. Hayte, Jr was there waiting for us upon our arrival and gave an overview of the house, the fridge had beer, wine and essentials waiting for us. We made friends with the iguanas and birds on the beach and even saw a pod of dolphins swimming by during the week! If I had to make a suggestion or two to make things even more perfect, I would suggest fans in the kitchen area and pool area for the nights that were without a breeze. I would also suggest some slight repairs to the screens, as there are some minor tears that allow the super annoying mosquitos in. The beauty, location, amenities and hospitality of the host made this an unforgettable vacation. If you are thinking of booking this home, book it now. You won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait for our next trip to this beautiful villa!

Amazing location BUT...

Spectacular house, right on the water, great shorebird viewing, a dozen shore dive sites within 10 minutes, snorkeling a 30 second walk away. BUT...the house is being marketed as a luxury property and needs some upkeep to get it to that level; I'd strongly suggest that the owner/manager stay there for a couple of weeks to get a feel for what is needed. Yes, some of it is just Bonaire, and some of it is the salt air; but most of it is just neglect, and things that could be corrected with minimal effort and expenditure. Why not supply reasonably sharp knives or a knife sharpener? Why not supply a complete and usable bbq set-up? Why not check that all the lights are functioning? For at MOST $200 and an hour of time, most of our complaints could have been avoided. That having been said: the managers were very accommodating and their communication in general was very good. I just think a little more attention needs to be paid to the condition, comfort, and usability of the rental.

An outstanding property and a great stay!

We just returned from Bonaire last weekend after a weeklong stay at Eco Beach House 3 and we couldn't have been happier with our stay! Many pros to this property with really no major cons to speak of. The Pros! The house is really easy to find from the airport. It's just a 5 minute drive south on the main road. Checking was really easy with Sam. He was great and helped us a few times during the week with some very minor issues. A true professional! Housekeeping was also excellent. They came on Wednesday and washed the towels and tidied up the place. The house is incredible! Just as described on Homeaway.com. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, there was plenty of hot water for showers and all the fixtures were new and well maintained. The kitchen was also fantastic. Very well stocked with spices and other cooking amenities. The dishes and pans were plentiful and well maintained. We ended up cooking at the house everyday so it was nice to have all of those things available. And finally, the pool! It was a perfect spot to unwind after the days adventures and watch the sun set. We couldn't have asked for a better location and spot to spend our vacation. We will definitely be back when we return to Bonaire. Thanks guys!!

Having never been to Bonaire, we were uncertain of location and comfort. The house was amazing!! Beautifully positioned on the water with dive spots out the door. The house was beautiful, the pool refreshing, and everything beyond what we expected. Hayte has a wonderful host with lots of good advise and recommendations. Thanks so much for having us. Spectacular residence right on the beach

The property is as gorgeous as the pictures on the website and the rooms were very spacious and with fantastic views of the ocean. The kitchen was a pleasure to use and had all the necessary gadgets even for the most demanding chef. The property manager was highly attentive to all our requests and very thorough in his explanation of all the features of this fantastic property. All in all we would highly recommend this property!!

Unbelievable vacation stay

This is an amazing property from all aspects. The house is as pictured and more! The location is fantastic, you essentially have the dive sites “the Lake” and the “Hilma Hooker” right out the back door. The kitchen is perfectly stocked, the rooms are very large and comfortable. The pool is the perfect size and the deck will accommodate a full house. The manager is incredibly professional and attentive. We had no issues and will definitely be back. This is a perfect choice for a small or large group of divers, windsurfers or even just to relax in the sun.

Incredibly beautiful home with great house reef

We had a great time in this beautiful well stocked home. It was very conveniently located to great dive sites, yet away from it all so you feel super relaxed. There is a very convenient area to rinse dive gear in, as well as a great drying rack. You can dive right out front, which made for a convenient location to dive on lazy days. The on line photos are very accurate. We will definitely be back

Giant roomy 4 bedroom house In a quiet area right on the beach in the best snorkeling spot, away from the sailboats and crowded moorings in Kralingstad. Infinity pool overlooking the beach. Each bedroom has AC. Large kitchen with 3 types of coffee makers! Great experience and coming back next year!

Beautiful home-Great location-Amazing views

House was great. Sam met us at the house and took care of everything for an easy check in. House is on the south end of the island with great diving on the house reef (The Lake) and close by. The new restaurant and day resort Ocean Oasis is walking distance and came in handy for late meal when we were to tired to make the trek to town. We will be back.

You can’t beat the location. The house is set up perfectly for travelers and had everything we needed for our group of eight. Snorkeling and diving right in back of the house was convenient, as well as one of the best dive sites at Salt Pier is literally 4 minutes away. Night diving and snorkeling was fabulous too! The pool is beautiful, clean and comfortable to jump in after a swim in the sea. On our last day, the dolphins made an appearance. We saw it all! Thank you to Hayte for welcoming us and for providing a gorgeous place to stay.

This house is Absolutely AMAZING. The pictures are beautiful, but I'm not even sure they do it justice. Waking up to the ocean waves, the constant breeze flowing through the house and the clean architecture and decor makes it such a serene setting, even with our three kids running around. I should also mention that they cried real tears when it was time to leave this house! Monique the property manager was so helpful and warm, and we can not wait to come back!!!

Great experience for our first time to Bonaire. Perfect for Divers!

My wife, friend and I are all divers and chose the Eco house 3 for our first visit to Bonaire. We used Flamingo Diving, who came to the villa the night we arrived and set us up with park passes, weights, and delivered tanks daily to our door. This location was perfect for us! The entrance to The Lake dive spot is next door South (walking with tanks and weights were no problem for us) and we even reached the Hilma Hooker (surprisingly) one day when diving right from our Villa. Our neighbors (also divers) to the North did enter the water right in front of their villa, but it's iron shore and pretty rocky, so we'd just walk down to the marked site entrance just pass the neighbors house on the South. We saw a lot of people snorkeling here as well. If it's your first time and you'll be diving here, get nice very solid soled dive boots. We had basic dive boots with thick rubber and neoprene which worked fine, but walking over the broken coral beach and iron shore with tanks and weights, you feel every little rock, etc. had sore feet by end of week. This location is the middle in a series of 3 similar properties, but we felt (after seeing and talking with neighbors on both sides) that Eco 3 is the best out of the 3 for divers. There's rinse tanks on the side of the house with hooks to hang all your gear. Plus, a driveway down to the rinse area for backing your truck down for loading and unloading (even though we only drove to 2 other dive sites all week - Angel City & Alice in Wonderland as we dove The Lake from our villa the entire time). Hayte was an AMAZING host. Left us a phone to use for local calls. There was bottled water, some chips, beer, wine already in the fridge when we got there. We hit up the grocery store the second day for supplies and grilled out a few nights and really enjoyed it. They did spray for mosquito's before we got there, and the wind was really nice the first 3 days so mosquito's weren't much of an issue. Later in the week the wind died down and it was really, really hot and mosquito's were out a bit more. But Hayte provided us with some spray that really helped and we had deet and Sawyer picaridin lotion that worked well. Even the locals said it was uncharacteristically hot the last few days without much wind. But if you completely open up the entire house, the winds come through and keep it pretty cool. And with AC's in the rooms (we had the upper North master room) with the AC directly on our bed it was great.

It is unique in all respects. Hard to find a copy anywhere in the world. It has a good breeze, it is cool, it is 3 steps from the ocean, the ocean does have lots of life in it and visible too, ( dolphins), beautiful climate all year round, a group of flamingo's flying by 10 inches above the ocean water, Pelicans diving for fish directly in front of you, A fish eagle on the roof top eating a fish he just caught, the best Sunsets you can imagine. And down under a very different life to explore when snorkling or diving..
