Rear enclosed, lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. A charming farm cottage right in the middle of a working farm. The End Hoose, as the name suggests, is right on the end of a terrace of quintessential farm cottages. This is the ideal home away from home for a family or small group of friends looking to explore and enjoy the plethora of activities and sites throughout the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.

The farm in which the house is located is a mainly arable farm but also has a small folk of sheep and cattle. One of the crops is pumpkins, so October visitors will have the pick of the bunch. April visitors can visit the lambing shed by appointment and August to early October is a hive of action with harvest and sowing in full swing.

The property features two spacious, comfortable bedrooms, one king with beautiful views out over the fields and one twin, both located on the upper floor. On the ground floor there are featured beam ceilings, the main living space is spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen will provide everything you’ll need to prepare and enjoy a hearty home cooked meal after your day’s exploration. A bathroom and separate shower room add a little practicality for those rushing around in the mornings.

Located 10 minutes away by car, Duns in the Scottish Borders boasts scenery and sites that are some of the most beautiful in the country, along with the world-famous Jim Clark museum. the Union Chain bridge the first suspension bridge in the country is 5miles from the property, the towns around the area are steeped in history, from Berwick-upon Tweeds ramparts to Coldstream Guards, Kelso for the horse races. Both Paxton House and Manderson House are within 10 minutes of the property. A little further you can visit Alnwick Garden, Bamburgh Castle and all the attraction of Edinburgh. There are a host of beaches within 10 miles.
