Ideal location on an ancient street, very quiet yet close to many sites, shops, restaurants, and public transit. Well-furnished; comfortable bed. The bathroom is a bit quirky, but no significant issues. We enjoyed the terrace, even in late fall. We would be very happy to stay here again.
I stayed at Maria’s wonderful apartment in Rome for nearly three weeks this November. It was one of the best decisions I made for my trip! The space was very clean, well-supplied with everything you would need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, and, best of all, centrally located. I was able to see everything I wanted to see, whether it was the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, or Trastevere, by walking. I took a bus to Santa Maria Maggiore and further on, but it was an easy walk to the bus stop, and a single bus to my various destinations. The grocery, bakery and Tabaccheria are literally 5 minutes or less away. I made a home base of one of the restaurants in the Campo dei Fiori, and enjoyed eating there multiple times and getting to know the staff. I ALWAYS felt safe—a single woman, alone all the time—even when I came in later at night. Maria and her staff were immediately responsive, pleasant and helpful. They arranged my taxi from and to the airport with no hassle. Prompt and courteous drivers. I hope to bring my husband to Rome in 2026 and stay in this or one of Maria’s other properties. Can’t recommend her enough!
Location was great - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Apartment was clean, and Leonardo and Maria were great hosts, answering questions and responding to emails. Felt like we had a home in the middle of Rome! Would highly recommend.
Had a great time in Rome and this property was in a perfect location. Easy to get anywhere, short walks to public transportation, lots of restaurants close by, and the piazza was bustling day and night!! Would definitely stay here again.
Very easy and fantastic location. This will be a recommended property to everyone we know! The balcony was great and the apartment was clean and beautiful ! Thank you for making our holiday special!
We absolutely loved our time in Rome and this apartment as our home base was awesome. So many restaurants and shops nearby and so many of the major attractions were very accessible. One of our best meals of the trip was at the restaurant just outside the front door. The apartment itself was clean and served us very well.
This apartment is in a great location, as we could walk to everywhere. Good restaurants and bars nearby. The stairs were not a problem for us. Air conditioning was a bonus given the heat.
A cozy flat that is steps away from the lively Campo dei Fiori market. The location make the most of the major sites of Rome walkable within 20-25 minutes. Cabs are close by as well. The management company is great and helpful. A note--the flat is on the top floor and there is no elevator. That said--it's a minor inconvenience.
Great Central Location for Walking Anywhere in Rome
The apartment is in a great neighborhood and was very clean. Communication with Maria from HomeTop was very good. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 were lack of some basic amenities, especially considering the price we paid for our stay (stayed 3 nights but only had 1 day supply of shampoo/shower gel, 1 day of coffee pods, no sugar, paper towels, dish towel, or window covering in bathroom).
Great location in the old district. Good food and shopping nearby. There were some ants in the bathroom. Lots of steps, 3rd floor walk up, but remember, the first floor is zero.
Heart of the city off of Campo di Fiori. Quiet though. Wonderful host - incredibly helpful in booking taxi to and from apartment. Clean. Nice patio for morning coffee.
Perfect apartment for a stay in Rome, good restaurants within walking distance, in fact we walked everywhere, from the Vatican to the Spanish Steps and everything in between. Comfortable bed, small bathroom and two sofas to relax on at the end of the day. Would stay again!
Good location with a well-equipped kitchen. Nice balcony. Only downside is the second bed - a pullout couch in the central room. Not very comfortable for a full-size adult. Hot water was slow in coming in bathroom, but there was plenty. Bedroom was nice and quiet. Three-flight walk-up not a problem without heavy luggage.
We absolutely loved this apartment! The Spanish Steps were so close we walked by them every day. Restaurants on every corner and the shopping was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!
The apartment was pretty close to online representation. Very old building and was told there was not a lift so very difficult to carry heavy luggage to the top floor at night, in the dark when tired from travel. We did see a working lift the next day in the daylight but not sure if it was a private one? There were trash cans immediately inside ground floor when you walk in so the smell was a bit overpowering. I understand why they had to be there but I wasn’t expecting it. The bathroom was extremely small and only accessible by 1 person at a time. But everything worked well and after settling in we were very happy. Maria the property manager was very helpful and responsive.
We loved the apartment and it was in an excellent location. Close to Campo de Fiori, shopping and restaurants. It was so quite at night you would never know you were in the middle of Rome. Great value for the money! Maria was quick to respond as she arranged our transport to Termini Station.
The location was excellent for exploring the sites of Rome by foot and/or taxi. Restaurants, groceries, laundry, and shopping are all within walking distance. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet. Being on the top floor was a plus for us with the terrace and sky views. But the climb up and down 61 uneven stone stairs is not for everyone, especially when carrying luggage or groceries. We were fortunate to discover the light switches that were necessary to prevent the timed lights from going off when we were halfway up or down. The kitchen appliances are fine, but only the bare essentials are provided for cooking. Air conditioning works very well as we were there in high heat and humidity. We did not use the washing machine on the terrace, but did make good use of the morning sun on the terrace to dry clothes we washed in the sink. Altogether we were very pleased with the apartment.
Had a great time in Rome. The property was as advertised. The host worked with us to adjust to our time schedule for arrival. It was quite a few steps to get to the apartment but didn’t mind them. Overall I would recommend this place.
