Beautiful Georgian Cottage tucked away in central village location.

Church Mouse Cottage has all the character and charm you would hope to find in a Georgian property. It has been decorated with love and furnished with comfort in mind to create, not just a place to stay, but a place to unwind, enjoy and make memories. Itā€™s a peaceful haven, a bolt hole to escape to with the wood burner roaring, a good book and a large glass of red! Itā€™s location is unique in that it is tucked away in the most tranquil and historic part of the village and yet it is just a 5 minute stroll to the high street with its many shops, pubs and cafes. Also, just a 10 minute walk away you will stumble upon the ā€˜Downs Linkā€™ which used to be a railway line but is now a 37mile green corridor full of wildlife, perfect for picnickers, cyclists and walkers to enjoy and reconnect with nature. With the river Adur running through, it really is a wonderful place to just pause and take in the beautiful scenery. šŸ¤—

Myself, partner, daughter, my mum and the two dogs had a great stay at Church Mouse Cottage. The cottage had ample room for us and was fully equipped with everything you would need and more! A lovely home from home. Anya also left us and the dogs some lovely treats which was very much appreciated We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay! I would happily stay here again. It is in such a peaceful location and is walking distance to all the amenities. Thw house was very clean and felt really homely and welcoming. The guest information booklet was excellent and the kitchen was stocked with more than enough kitchenware. Anya is a very attentive host and responded quickly. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay for families

If you look for a calm stay from where you can reach most of the interesting places in the south of London as well as the coast you are right here. The cottage is perfectly equipped. Anya is was very kind.

Charming Cottage in Henfirld

Wonderful little cottage

We had a lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful little cottage. It was perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. Quiet and very peaceful and yet close enough to the town to enjoy the pubs and restaurants. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed and the extra little touches like wine and chocolate brownies on arrival were wonderful. Highly recommend the Church Muse Cottage !

Lovely cottage

Lovely place to stay and explore Knepp and surrounding countryside. The cottage is beautifully equipped , immaculately prepared and generously supplied with everything you might need and more. The homemade cake and Prosecco was also a lovely touch. Communication was great and we canā€™t recommend a stay here highly enough!

A little slice of heaven

We loved our 2 night stay at Mouse Cottage and all the previous reviews we read about this beautiful place, were accurate. Anya has thought of everything for a very comfortable stay! It was a great relaxing base for us after a busy week in London, and perfect for a day trip to the Seven Sisters and Brighton. Highly recommended!

Church Mouse Cottage

Upon entry to the property we were greeted with a personalised card from the host Anya, plus a complimentary bottle of prosecco on ice, and some homemade brownies. The cottage is very homely, beautifully decorated and located a stone's throw from the centre of the lovely village of Henfield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend.

It felt like homeā€¦

We had a fantastic stay at church mouse cotton. We were welcomed with a delicious carrot cake and various things for breakfast, such as marmelade, milk and croissants. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and lovely decorated in every detail. From the First Moment it felt like being at home.
