Green House

Green House is a charming, standalone accommodation ideal for those seeking privacy and a peaceful setting, in close contact with nature and the local traditions of the Amalfi Coast, yet just a short drive from the town centre.
The house is located in the heart of an ancient farm divided into gardens and terraces of various sizes, connected by stairs and paths, and cultivated with lemon trees grown using traditional methods by the expert hands of local farmers: rugged cliffs transformed into lush gardens featuring dry-stone walls, known as “macere,” and covered with wooden structures called pergolas to support the growth of the lemon trees.
The fresh, new interiors create cosy and inviting spaces, decorated with modern majolica tiles, stone floors, antique pieces, and designer furniture. It comfortably sleeps up to four adults in two separate accommodation located just a few steps apart. The main accommodation includes a large bedroom, a separate kitchenette, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower. The smaller unit consists of a combined large bedroom and living room, a separate, fully equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower.
Since this holiday home is approximately 3.5 km from the centre of Maiori, the only thing to consider when booking is that it’s preferable to have a car. Nothing is within walking distance—restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and the beach are all accessible only by car, about a 5-minute drive away. Parking is available on the property at a daily rate of 10 euros per car. This fee is payable locally in cash.


ACCOMMODATION: (45 sqm + 150 sqm terraces)
The main terrace, partially shaded by a bamboo roof and paved with stone, is adorned with lemon trees and features a dining table seating 8 people, an outdoor shower, and a barbecue area.


From the main terrace, you enter the villa through a glass door that opens into the kitchen area, which is equipped with 4 induction cooktops, a small refrigerator, a dishwasher, and other small appliances. To one side, there is a fold-out table that seats 2 people and a window overlooking the gardens.
From the kitchen, you’ll have access to a spacious double bedroom, the bathroom, and a living room.

- The bedroom is furnished with wooden furniture, including a double bed, a walk-in closet, two nightstands, an antique desk and chest of drawers, an air conditioning/heating unit, and windows overlooking the garden.
- The fully equipped bathroom is adorned with modern majolica tiles. It features a stone sink, a toilet, a bidet, and a very spacious shower.
- The small sitting room is furnished with a sofa, a satellite TV, an air conditioning/heating unit, a window, and a glass door opening onto the garden.
There are unguarded terraces and drops on the property, so children under 10 years of age are not permitted at this property.

Visitor’s tax: 2 euros per person per day

Services available upon request by prior arrangement (provided and payable locally): food delivery (€30.00), extra cleaning (€10.00 per hour), extra linens (€30.00 per room), private chef, airport transfers, private tours, and excursions (please enquire for details and prices).

Refundable security deposit due upon arrival: 200 euros in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure, minus any charges for accidental damage to the property.

ACCESS: From the parking space, 14 steps lead to the villa’s gate, from where a short uphill path (broken up by 50 steps) leads up to the main terrace in front of the villa.
It is preferable to have a car in order to explore the rest of the coast’s treasures.
DISTANCES:

The centre of Maiori and some of the coast’s best beaches are roughly 3.5 km away. Maiori offers all basic amenities: beach services, supermarkets, banks, a post office, bars, restaurants, a tourist port, and other facilities.
The Sita bus also stops just a few metres from the property’s main gate.
