About Dancing with the Waves

Located on the quiet, relaxing beach of Fort Morgan, Dancing with the Waves offers a serene setting far away from the high rises and traffic. Start each day with a cup of coffee and spot dolphins from the sunny deck. Or, spend time soaking up the sun and enjoying the view, which is totally unobstructed with nothing but sand between the home and the gulf. Year after year, guests return to Dancing with the Waves for its charm, happy memories, and stellar location. Imagine being able to take a few steps out the door and fish year-round! 
In the open living area, guests will enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows to bring that unbeatable view inside. The lofted ceilings give this spacious room a totally open feel. The living area also features plenty of comfortable seating and a large LCD TV.  This large, open space also features the dining area, with a table for 5 plus additional seating at the bar. The open kitchen offers gulf views, cooking essentials such as cookware and small appliances,  and plenty of counter space. Dancing with the Waves also offers a washer and dryer to take care of laundry needs while on vacation.
With sleeping accommodations for up to 6, there's room for everyone. The gulf-front master bedroom features a king-sized bed, gulf views, a TV, and an attached master bathroom. There is a second gulf-front bedroom on the other side of the house. Bedroom 2 features beach views, and a king-sized bed, and shares a bathroom with Bedroom 3. Bedroom 3 features two full-sized beds to sleep 2 and a wall-mounted TV.

About Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

This property was perfect for our family! The house was right on the beach and so convenient for enjoying time on the sand...the beach was a very short walk away from the house which was convenient for my elderly Mom! The kitchen was also well stocked and there were plenty of towels to go around! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again in the future!

Steps from the beach..

We wanted steps from the beach.. Enough room for 7-8 adults and a few kids, less Crowds and plenty of space to cook and eat. This was it! Zero disappointment.. Very pet friendly! Everything we wanted plus located in a beautiful area. We will be back!

This place is our PARADISE, approximately 14 hours from our home! We had to bring the newest grandson and show him ourselves what beach life is like. Everyone in the family enjoyed themselves even more this time! Comfortable furniture, we relaxed on the deck lots. Such a dream to cook in the Kitchen and watch the ocean! We saw lots of dolphins this time! And rode so many waves on the boogie board! We left with a great tan and memories for a lifetime.

Great location and a great house. Will probably be back. Only complaint is the ice maker in the fridge didn't work. Always have to get bag ice for the beach, but it's nice to have an ice maker for drinks inside. Anyway, it was great.

A Slice of Heaven in Alabama

Words cannot adequately express the beauty of the Dancing With the waves property! The inside is lovely and comfortable. The master bath is amazing! The ocean facing windows allow in so much natural light. You really feel like you are in your own little island! The kitchen is spacious and has a gorgeous island with plenty of seating. I love staying in Fort Morgan because of the quietness of the community and family friendly atmosphere. My group of 4 loved our stay and are already talking about booking for next March!

BEST PLACE IN FORT MORGAN!

We came to the beach with our Boxer dog and two teenage girls. This house was PERFECT! Absolutely loved staying in Ft. Morgan away from all the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, where we usually stay. The house layout is awesome and I felt like I could see the beach from all but one room in the house! Hosts provided everything we needed and it was so easy to check in and out. I loved having our own little stretch of beach and being able to run back up to the house if need be without feeling like I had to pack everything up. This house was just what we needed for our family!! Even my husband commented that he’d never stayed at a nicer place! Also was extremely pleased with all the “dog-friendliness” of Ft. Morgan. Thanks for making our stay PERFECT!! This house will be our new “go to” for beach trips!

Dancing on the waves

We were very well surprised by the renovations. This was absolutely perfect for us and our pups. Only thing missing a bathtub for my wife, we were absolutely blown away with this property.

This property is absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a peaceful vacation away from all of the hustle and the crowded beaches this is it. The house has enough room that a family of eight will have plenty of room and will never feel like your crowding each other. The beach has easy access and the best part is you didn't have to fight for a spot. Loved the property and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would give it a 10.

Weathering tropical storm Alberto

A very nice beach house with a great location. We've been renting beach houses in Fort Morgan for over twenty years and I think this house sat closer to the water than any other. We were there during tropical storm Alberto and red, white and blue "Old Glory" waved proudly through all the high wind. We had a very good time and appreciated the weather updates from VRBO. We would recommend the house and will rent it again in the future.

The property needed some updates. The views were fantastic!

The house wasn’t cleaned very well. The floor in the kitchen was sticky. The cabinets are old and needed a good cleaning. I read it was just purchased by a new owner. I guess they will do some updating in the future. The views were fantastic and we enjoyed our stay. Was there for a month. I liked having the flag hanging outside on the deck. The stairs on the deck were difficult to carry luggage and groceries up. It would help to have reflective tape on them at night. I don’t mean to sound so negative about the house. I’m just making a few suggestions. I would stay there again.

The place was very roomy with some amazing views. Everything was perfect! We had a great time and will be returning. The only downside I could find was the internet there is not worth a dang, but hey it kept me from working while on vacation!! So not really complaining about that all!

only problems was the internet / wifi fi never worked the entire time. I called the property manger and numerous texts about it. They seemed to think I was no good at computers but work on these daily for my job. It wasn't me or family, it was something wrong with the system, gear or other. I had some deadlines for work while getting to be able to go on this trip at last minute and was only able to make them by using my husbands cell as a hot spot in order to get our laptop to work. Thus using and having overage of data. Therefore costing me more money now that I am back. Other than that house was good.
