About this property
Comfy child/dog friendly garden flat heart Camden
My much loved personal London home. A pretty 2 bedroom garden flat on Parkway, Camden's music street and just five minutes walk from the peace and beauty of Regent's Park.
This a really brilliant base to explore Camden and London. Parkway is rich with music venues, cafes, restaurants, food shops and bars.
Just 5 minutes from Camden Town Tube station and two bus services into the West End run from even nearer the flat.
And there’s fast full fibre internet in all rooms 56 Mb average.
This is a simple, pretty garden flat, not fancy (boho not Belgravia) but clean, cosy and comfy. I've redecorated most of it in past few months. The private garden at the back is a real treasure, a haven away from the hurly burly outside.
A basement flat, it has its own private entrance. In first bedroom is at the front, there is a very comfortable double divan bed with top quality pocket sprung mattress. The bathroom is next door with bath/shower, toilet and hand basin. The second and slightly larger bedroom is next to the door also with a super comfortable premium bend pocket sprung mattress. At the back there is a light, airy sitting room/diner/kitchen area with French windows leading to the garden.
In the sitting dining area there’s a projector with Amazon Fire Stick and 100 inch pull down screen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing/drying machine - and top quality espresso machine.
There are buses into London from very near the flat and the Tube station is 5 minutes walk away where there are also many buses to central London.
Camden Road overground station is about 10 minutes walk away - here you can get trains to Hampstead Heath, Richmond, Hackney and many other parts of London.
Parking: on Parkway itself you can park for 2 hours between 10.00 to 4.00 on weekdays and 9.30-5.30on weekends. On weekdays there is no permitted parking 8.30-10.00 and 4.00-6.30. I suggest you use the app Parkopedia to find parking near to the flat

Great location, very convenient to the Camden Town tube. Lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. The house is set up well for 4 adults and we had everything we needed. Great communication the whole time.

We were in London for a short half term break. The flat was charming and we felt welcome, like we were staying at a friends. The flat was cosy and very well positioned. Loved it and will hopefully be back!

Thank for being such wonderful guests and I’m so glad that my place was successful as a base for your exploring of Camden Marhet and beyond.
Nick’s flat was perfect for our 3 night stay! It was close to everything we needed and provided a much better option than a hotel. We appreciated all the convenience (underground station, restaurants, shops, and pubs nearby) and the space (especially 2 spacious bedrooms), including the little garden sitting area out back. Would definitely return.

Brian thank you for your review / i’m so glad you both enjoyed your stay - hope to see you again sometime!
The location of this apartment was fantastic, easy access to shops and restaurants, and transport. The apartment was comfortable and well equipment. The outside garden area meant we could sit on the sun in the morning and enjoy a coffee in the sun. The big screen TV was great to relax in front off with a home cooked meal after a day of touring around London.
Nick’s basement flat was great for our family of four. Our 8 and 14 year olds shared a bed, no problem. Loved the living room with projector and big screen and the charming quiet garden out back. Good location close to Camden underground. Neighborhood is lively and loud at night, but we slept with white noise no problem. Comfy beds and all the necessities.
The flat is in the middle of a lively urban quarter, with tube and buses nearby to get to the rest of London. We found the flat as we had expected it from the website: nice and comfortable (furniture, colours, the way of illumination, books around...). And we have met a host very simpatico :)

Thank you Peter - it was a pleasure meeting you all and I m so glad you nenjoyed my flat. I hope you might come and stay again sometime.
Perfect stay for me my and my three teenage kids - near the tube stop, night life, cafes right next door, and a whole foods for grocery shopping. Loved the living room with a projector for movies, and the garden in the back. One of our best nights was chilling at "home" in the apt eating Italian food we made, and watching Dune. Oh, and of course, there was all of London, too. :-)

If you're interested in staying in Camden, this is a good place that is very central and close access to public transport. The host takes care of the place and kept it clean. I didn't agree with his hosting choices a couple times, but he was very responsive and accommodating, especially for a last minute booking.

Hi Nat - thanks so much fot your helpful review. Hope to see you again sometime. Regards

We had a great little stay in Nick's property right in the heart of Camden. Communication throughout was excellent, the flat was cosy and warm which was great given we had snow the first day we arrived! The flat is down a short flight of stairs which is fine. There was some building works going on that somewhat hampered entry but was not really an issue. Thanks Nick!

Thanks Lori - so glad you enjoyed my place. Sorry about the works being done - come back sometime and it will all be clear and beautiful!
This is the place you've been feverishly searching for as you scour listing after listing trying to find the one: that ellusive somewhere, with an unbeatable location, alluring character & a kind, helpful/knowledgeable, responsive host ... all for an unbeatable price.
This is that place - book it & get on with your life!
The DETAILS:
It's super close (5-7 min walk) from Camden Town tube stop - we have a 3yo & 7yo ... we knew we wanted somewhere very close to public transport yet also with plenty to see in walking distance (like the sunset from Primrose Hill) - the location is a dream & you can't beat it with a stick.
Kids 11 & under are FREE on public transport, we got day passes & went all over London thanks to this fabulous spot. Most things are a single transfer away. If you like music you'll get to see street performers & Amy Winehouse's statue & be sure to check out the Modfather Shop if you like her style as well.
Do you like to eat? Excellent, it's super close to all kinds of food options that are affordable & delicious so you never have to go hangry - grocery stores less than a block away if you want to eat on the super cheap; kitchen has all you need to cook.
Place was clean & everything worked as expected. Water hot. Wifi fast. Stellar book collection. Outside garden was lovely & perfect for the kids - as was the movie screen.
Nick is a gem. Kind, quickly communicative, very helpful. Just an ideal host, all around. Thank you, Nick!

Hi VRBO suggested I reply - which I’m happy to do and to thank you again for your beautiful review!
Tolle, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft unweit Camden Market. Ideal für 2 Paare.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war hervorragend und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Why they chose this property
This is a flat my daughter lived in for 4 years and I loved it then and now it has become mine. I am so happy to be living on Parkway, it is one of my most favourite streets in London and I'm happy to share it with visitors.
What makes this property unique
To be next door to a charity shop called Rock n Roll Rescue, two doors from the Dublin Castle and 5 minutes from the gorgeous greenery of Regent's Park in one direction and 5 minutes from the mayhem of Camden Town in the other is my idea of heaven.
