Lovely one-bedroom harbourside suite located in the lower level of a home, on a private oasis in the centre of Sooke. All you need to bring is a suitcase!

Walking distance to Sooke's shopping and amenities, and easy access to west coast beaches, surfing and the Sooke Potholes. Here for business? The property has a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Considering the prices for other accommodations, the price was very reasonable for how nice the suite was.

Wonderfully clean and tidy. Absolutely stunning views, morning, noon, and night. We watched seals, bald eagles, herons, and plenty of other smaller birds, including hummingbirds (!). We had a tranquil, peaceful time, exactly what we wanted. Everything from the self check-in to in-house instructions to checking out was smooth and easy. We hope to return!

A great getaway location!

The owners were very accommodating and communicated very well to make this stay enjoyable. The property is nicely located and provides a great water view from the deck that we enjoyed with a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

We are a family of four who live on the property. We have worked hard to make this place our home, and look forward to sharing it with guests. After living in New Zealand for two years, and exploring different parts of North America, and experiencing awesome hospitality, we thought it would be amazing to bring the world to our doorstep, and host people ourselves.

Why they chose this property

This property has the 'Wow' factor. The day we initially viewed this property, we sat in the house for nearly an hour and just imagined what it would be like to look at this view our whole lives. We watched the sun sparkle off the water, the morning mist moved in and out, the birds, the boats, the seals. The view is constantly changing! We immediately wrote an offer, and the rest - as they say - is history.
