Casa Rosabella is situated in Italy near the cosmopolitan Swiss city of Lugano, which is just a 15-20 minute’s drive away. It is ideally suited for guests who wish to explore the attractions on both Lake Como and Lake Lugano, as Lake Como is a 30 minute panoramic drive away, accessible by car or bus.

Casa Rosabella is a renovated home of 70 square meters (750 square feet) on two floors. The house has all modern comforts yet retains aspects of its original antique charm with touches like the floor of 'cotto antico'.
The upper floor is open plan, with a fully equipped modern kitchen, a dining area seating 6, and living area with a sofa, armchair, wifi internet connection and flat screen TV with satellite. The sofa can also be adapted to a very comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, if required. The ground floor consists of a spacious bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe, and a modern bathroom with shower. There is also a garden area where one can relax outdoors or eat while enjoying the view of the lake, and the pre-alps with lush vegetation. Free public parking is available a short walk away. The house is very sunny and boasts an incredible lake view.

Small apartment with beautiful lake view

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Kitchen is well equipped. The only minor thing I can think of is that the terrace is next to the building and can only be reached via the pedestrian street. But it’s only 20 metres.

Wonderful experience

Molly and Giovanni are the best hosts we have ever experienced. They live hospitality and are always available with advices and tips and also uplifting conversations. The apartment - located in an old village center - is modern and furnished with everything, the view of the lake is great, and the small garden invites you to relax. You can be in Lugano or hiking in the mountains in 10 minutes by car.

Clean and welcoming home in the heart of an Italian village

Molly and Giovanni couldn't have been more welcoming, both before and during our stay. We felt they were interested in us as people, rather than merely customers or guests. The property was very clean and had a comfortable bed. There are views of the lake both from the property and the nearby garden. We felt at home from the moment we had unpacked, and started to relax immediately. The property is well located in the centre of a friendly village and is close to some wonderful walks. There is an excellent hypermarket at Porlezza, about 15 minutes away by car. Being able to walk to and swim in the lake was an unexpected bonus. Despite being in the centre of a lively village we were only disturbed by noise on one night, and that was by a massive and spectacular thunderstorm over the lake! The village is on a steep hillside and the property is only accessible on foot, about 50 steps down from the parking. Not a problem for us, but important to be aware if you have mobility problems. Also, don't make the mistake we did by only taking Euros. The property is only a mile or so from the Swiss border and if you want to visit anywhere in Switzerland you will at the very least need some Swiss franc coins for parking. Having said that, the petrol stations just before crossing into Italy were happy to exchange Euros although presumably not at a brilliant rate.

Es waren drei wunderbare Wochen, die wir bei Molly und Giovanni verbringen durften. Haus und Garten sind sehr schön und entsprechen voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Von den Gastgebern wurden sehr nett und freundlich empfangen und liebevoll durch die drei Wichen begleitet. Es war alles sehr gut. Danke!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit tollem Ausblick

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Valsolda verbracht. Bereits die Wegebeschreibung war sehr gut (das Video für die Anfahrt ist eine super Idee) - wir wurden trotz staubedingter Verspätung sehr freundlich empfangen und umfassend mit der Wohnung vertraut gemacht. Trotz des sehr warmen Wetters konnte die Wohnung gut genutzt werden (auch dank der vorhandenen Lüfter), war sehr geräumig, sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Das Highlight war aber die tolle Sicht über den Luganer See vom Wohnzimmer aus. Auch den schönen Garten haben wir sehr genossen. Super war auch die Lage, um zügig sowohl Lugano, wie auch den Comer See zu erreichen - so konnten wir sehr viele schöne Exkursionen machen. Ganz vielen Dank an Molly und Giovanni für den tollen Aufenthalt und dass sie auch immer für uns ansprechbar waren. Es war wirklich schön!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einem schönen Dorf mit schönem Garten. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Umgebung ist abwechslungsreich, tolle Ausflugsziele, wunderbarerer See mit schönen Badestellen, tolle Restaurants. Schöner Blick auf den See

Die Unterkunft liegt oberhalb des Luganer Sees in einem Bergdorf. Man muss von der Straße her ein paar Stufen nach unten steigen, wird aber vom tollen Blick von der Küche auf den See entschädigt. Garten mit Liegestühlen 1 Minute um die Ecke. Sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. FeWo ist recht groß.

Traditionell mit super Aussicht

Das Haus von Molly und Giovanni ist hochwertig, zum Teil modern, zum Teil traditionell ausgestattet. Es liegt ruhig in den Gassen von Albogasio, der Garten, der zur Wohnung gehört und von Giovanni gärtnerisch genutzt und gepflegt wird, ist gleich nebenan. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, ideal zum herunterfahren. Molly und Giovanni sind wundervolle Gastgeber, jederzeit bemüht, den Aufenthalt perfekt werden zu lassen. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen!

Schöne ruhige Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Molly und Giovanni sind nette Gastgeber, die sich dafür einsetzen, dass die Gäste eine tolle Zeit haben. Die Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet und die Ruhe sowie der Ausblick sind erwähnenswert. Die Wohnung liegt inmitten der kleinen Gassen und ist über Treppen erreichbar.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit fantastischem Ausblick

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genoßen und können diese Wohnung wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig uns sehr schön. Von der Wohnung und dem Garten hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick auf den See. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Fantastischer Ausblick, Ruhe und Entspannung

Der Ausblick hat mich jeden Morgen neu verzaubert. Es war wunderschön und entspannend mit einem Becher Kaffee am geöffneten Fenster in der Sonne zu sitzen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, die Umgebung urig. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, auch ein Haarfön war vor Ort . Salz, Kaffee und einige andere Dinge gehörten auch dazu. Der Garten ist über einen kurzen Weg erreichbar und bietet ebenfalls einen schönen Ausblick auf den See. Die Straße zum Haus ist eng und recht abenteuerlich. Wir hatten immer das Glück einen Parkplatz etwas oberhalb des Hauses zu bekommen. Molly und Giovanni sind wunderbare, sehr aufmerksame und herzliche Gastgeber. Wir haben sogar ein paar leckere Tomaten aus dem Garten bekommen. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit bei euch. Worauf man achten sollte: Unsere mobilen Daten liefen über ein Schweizer Netz. Diese ist nicht an die Rooming - Auflagen der EU gebunden. Also zahlt man in der Regel. Unser Anbieter hat dafür einen Preisdeckel von 60 €, und die war schon nach 18 Stunden erreicht. Nur so zur Info. Es war herrlich bei euch.

Fantastique location avec vue magnifique

Une vue époustouflante depuis la maison où nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Molly et Giovanni avec qui nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à discuter. C’est un émerveillement quotidien de se lever avec le lac en point de mire. La location est très agréable, joliment décorée et bien équipée. Le jardin est très mignon, bien aménagé et à quelques pas de la maison, idéal pour pouvoir se reposer, prendre un verre, lire après les nombreuses visites. Ils parlent français tous les deux et nous ont donné des conseils sur leur magnifique région, ce qui est un plus compte tenu de notre faible maîtrise des langues. Le lac de Lugano est plutôt calme par rapport aux autres lacs et nous avons apprécié cette quiétude à Albigasio et dans les petits villages alentour. À recommander sans hésitation à tous ceux qui aiment la tranquillité tout en ayant l'envie de découvrir une belle région.

Alles perfekt

Wir waren zu viert mit zwei kleinen Kindern für vier Nächte in diesem wunderschönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Lage verdienen die Bestnote. Der Garten ist wunderschön und bietet einen Blick auf den See. Hervorheben möchte ich auch den Kontakt zu den Gastgebern Molly und Giovanni, die in der Nähe wohnen und durch ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Offenheit dafür sorgen, dass man sich als Gast sehr wohl fühlt.
