About this property
1 bedroom accommodation in Malpas
This charming bow-top and oak lodge sits behind the cottage orchard in a gently sloping field, taking in views over a small wooded area with a stream babbling through it.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: (No TV), Woodburner
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Gas Cooker, Microwave, Fridge
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Annexe:
Ground Floor:
Bedroom: (4 Steps), Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Electric heater (bowtop), gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner and charcoal for barbecue included. Parking (15 meters away). No smoking. Please note: There is a stream and a pond close to the property.. The Wagon is an original Romani wagon recently restored with pretty sari fabrics, fresh paintwork and a comfortable double mattress - to be honest there’s not a lot of room for much else in a bow-top, so right next door is a craftsman built oak-frame lodge with a pretty garden area that’s perfect for outdoor meals and lazing about. Inside the lodge is a beautifully appointed kitchen where preparing meals is a joy so in autumn when the boughs are full of fruit, why not make a home-made apple pie for dessert?! In the living area there is comfy seating, a wood burner, a dining area and a tip-top shower room completes this little oak house.
There are no other holiday accommodations on this site, so if you’re looking for a rural break with peace and privacy, but not too far out in the wilds, this might just be the ticket. This glamping break is a great combination of childhood ’camping out’ and a luxurious lodge holiday - you get the best of both worlds! If you love trees you’ll enjoy the old orchard, the specimen trees planted many years ago, and the mature, wild trees growing along the stream where secret picnic spots have been cleared. It would surely be churlish not to pack a basket with a chunk of proper Cheshire cheese and a freshly baked loaf of bread. If you’d like to enjoy most of your home comforts during your glamping break along with a hint of Romani adventure, this Cheshire Romani wagon and lodge certainly provide them.
Despite its gorgeous countryside location, Copper Beech is only a few minutes away from the lovely village of Tilston. The centre of the village is really pretty and includes a great local shop with all the basics! What’s more, The pub in Tilston is only a 5 min walk through the village and serves really good food using locally sourced produce. OIther attractions nearby include Beeston Castle, Tarporley, built by the Earl of Chester in the 1220’s and incorporates ditches of an iron age hill fort.
