This property was amazing! It was close enough to town to have a quick drive or a longer walk, but also had incredible views. The host was so sweet and kind and we were met with such hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Mountain Respite

Fabulous mountain views, wonderfully comfortable accommodations with every detail thought of, great hosts, perfect location within walking location to town...can't say enough about it! We keep coming back!

Really a nice house with great views and the owner's were great as well. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was convenient to Highlands, but not in the center of the town.

Hello All- Jon is absolutely correct. We are not in the center of town, rather 9/10ths of a mile which is easily walkable. Topologically, you cannot be in the center of town and have a great view. We really enjoyed Jon and his wife, we hope they visit again. Thanks-Carl

Great View

We loved our stay. We caught the leaves at their peak, and we had an excellent view from the deck. The home was well stocked and just a short drive into the town.

Terrific home, amenities and location

Top of the Knob is the perfect location to be close to town yet feel far away. This home is well appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the hummingbirds’ daily visits to the porch. A perfect, relaxing stay!

Great home and location

This home was perfect for my wife and I to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We were greeted by Ann with a gift and felt like we were at home nestled on the Mountain with beautiful views. Conveniently located ,well equipped and clean this home was perfect for some great memories.

Amazing Home

The stay was amazing! House is beautiful, comfortable, convenient to town. Owner went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of - we actually got married on the beautiful deck with amazing views of the mountains. Will definitely return and spend more time there. You couldn't find a better place with care, comfort and beauty.

Wonderful Stay in Highlands

We loved this property!! It had a fabulous view, clean, comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need. The host is so kind! We arrived to a basket of yummy snacks, homemade blueberry bread and bottle of wine. There were refreshments in the fridge as well as cream for our coffee. Location was ideal and in the heart of Highlands. We loved our stay and would love to stay there again!

Spectacular views, terrific stay!

In the Top of the Knob neighborhood, this beautiful home is the best of all worlds - high enough for unobstructed views of mountains as far as you can see, secluded enough to be completely out of the hustle & bustle, but just a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Highlands! Anne is the perfect host! We were greeted with a welcome basket of wine, snacks & a delicious coffee cake. She stocked the fridge with beverages, butter & cream for coffee. A wide variety of teas and coffee were also provided. Anne gives recommendations for hikes, restaurants & more. We will definitely be back!

A piece of Heaven

You search and search on VRBO for just the right place. You stare at the pictures repeatedly, study the location on the map, and wonder if the view is really that good. You can stop now. This home really is that good. The location is amazing and the view is sublime. Perfect for 2 couples. To get a porch and view like this so close to town is very difficult. We immediately signed up for next year. That should tell you everything.
