Great location and plenty of room for our family. There was a chocolate festival outside in the square the night we got there. It was so fun! Shops and restaurants in the square. Walking distance to a lot of stuff.
Excellent location, the hosts are helpful and communicative.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We’d be thrilled to welcome you back again in the future!
Great location, space was perfect for our group size. Cleanliness was average, floors were dirty upon arrival. Maintenance was lacking..washer was broken, wifi was out,. Repair was prompt, but apparent that no one had checked out prior to our arrival.
This property is in a great location easily walkable to all of Florence. We enjoyed walking just downstairs to the bar in the evenings. Only issue is that we could only get wifi in the master bedroom and balcony room.
We spent four nights in this apartment in Firenze. Right on the square. Great location and well appointed. Extremely clean with plenty of linens. A little loud in overnight hours as this neighborhood is a gathering spot for a tremendous number of youthful locals and tourist kept the party going late into the night on the weekend.
We loved staying here! Communication was great, and the place was large and clean. The location was great- so much to do just steps away! And we weren’t too far from other Florence monuments, so we just walked everywhere. We’ve got 4 kids and they did great with the layout of the apartment and having enough space and bathrooms. The church across the street wasn’t even on my radar, but is so cool and has some famous people buried there. We loved our time in Florence, and appreciated how close this place was to gelato, yummy food, monuments, the river and bridges, and street markets. It was a beautiful place that fit all of our needs (outlets, bathrooms, a washer, a fridge, etc). We would stay here again!
If you are visiting Florence, stay here!! This apartment is in an amazing location, is spacious and has great amenities. The host and his team were responsive and made check in easy. I would absolutely stay here again!
Our stay at the Florence VRBO was quite enjoyable. Check-in was a breeze, with a friendly guy meeting us on arrival. The room was fantastic and well-maintained, and the location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city.
The only downside was the construction happening right outside our window in the square, which was a bit noisy. Despite this, we had a great stay overall.
Fabulous flat with balcony overlooking Santa Croce piazza
It is a little bit of a hike from the Central Train Station, but once there we were close to all the main attactions in Florence. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Best part is the balcony overlooking the piazza. One evening we were serenaded by a tenor singing well known Pavoratti songs. Great restaurant just across the piazza. Highly recommend this spot.

No hot water on arrival, we were there for 3 nights, and they did not try to address it until the third night, and it was stil not fixed. Frustration with the office was met with, what do you want me to do, I can not fix it myself. No I am supposed to be working with a management company that has nearly 300 units, you would think they would have a staff of mechanics on mechanics on retainers. We asked to be moved to another unit, and they said none were available. We asked for a 50% refund and to date they have refused. We will address this with VRBO and the credit card company.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the lack of hot water and for the delay in addressing the issue, as well as for the frustration caused by our communication. This is not the level of service we aim to provide.
We understand your disappointment, regret that we could not relocate you due to full occupancy, and are reviewing our maintenance procedures to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
The location is great. Viewing the Santa Croce from the balcony is wonderful. Even though the unit is above a bar, we didn't have any issues with the amount of street noise. The check-in process was easy. The property manager met us at the unit shortly after we arrived and walked us through the property. I would warn any families looking at this property that it is an odd unit layout and there is a long hallway between the first bedroom and the two other connected bedrooms. This was fine for our family, but would have been difficult with younger children. The only other potential issue is that there is no elevator. It's only one floor up, but that was a bit difficult with luggage. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
The location is great. We live Santa Croce as it is central but not crazy busy. This residence was great because it had a beautiful view of the piazza and the bedroom was super quiet/ as it was in the rear of the apartment. Negatives- it was sparse. It only had 2 x pilllows. The sofa was and furnishings were sparse and uncomfortable and kitchen was super sparse.

Lovely Apartment
Great location and fairly clean upon arrival. We did not mind the lively late night bar downstairs because we brought earplugs, LOL! There is a door connecting this apartment to another adjacent apartment. The only surprise we had was someone opening the door and walking into our apartment while we were taking a nap -twice! For better security, the door should lock from BOTH sides, not just one. I had to set a chair at the door just to feel comfortable it would not accidentally happen again. Other than that, it was fine. Host was good with communication.
I love this place! It was roomy and the view of the Sta.Croce piazza and basilica was amazing! Please note that 1st floor is not yhe ground floor.
There will be a flight of steps to get to the apartment and there is no elevator. The bed was comfortable, shower had plenty of hot water, and the washer worked great. Heaters were warm and the windows were airtight.
Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Don't miss Bocadamma across from the apartment in the piazza and La Carriah gelateria nearby. The restaurant below the apartment makes great drinks and a lovely place to people watch. Check out the Cat Cafe for coffee and pastries.
Please take a tour of the beautiful basilica. Paintings, artifacts and sculptures abound, as well as the final resting place of Michaelangelo, Machiavelli, Marconi and Galileo.
Highly recommend this apartment and I can't wait to stay here again! Thank you Edoardo!!
If you're looking for a cozy and comfortable apartment in Florence that is perfect for solo or couple travelers, then look no further than this lovely accommodation. Located in a prime spot that's just a stone's throw away from all the major attractions, this apartment is the ideal base for exploring the city.
The living area is bright and airy, with large windows that flood the space with natural light. It's the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing or to plan your next adventure in the city.
The bedroom has a large, comfortable bed that promises a good night's sleep. The bathroom is clean and modern.
One of the standout features of this apartment is its location. It's situated in the heart of Florence, just a short walk away from all the major attractions, including the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio. You'll be able to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the city, and be just steps away from some of the best restaurants, cafes, and shops.
Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable and convenient home base for your trip to Florence, then this apartment is an excellent choice. With its prime location and all the amenities you need for a tourist stay, you're sure to have a wonderful time exploring this beautiful city.
The location couldn't be beat! So close to everything. However, the bed was so uncomfortable that both my husband and I had a backache starting the 2nd day that just got worse each morning. Eventually, I slept on the couch one evening to see if that was better. While I'm sure it helped my back, it was difficult to sleep there because of the noise and bright lights outside. A small price to pay for being in such a wonderful location! We wound up taking several doses of ibuprofen every morning and afternoon to deal with it.
Generally, the apartment was very, very clean! However, the shower floor and part to the shower wall had a layer of mildew that is unappealing. In circumstances like this, I usually go by some bleach spray and treat the mildew myself. But since the grocery stores nearby were very limited in their selection, I was not able to do that.
The washer in the ajpartment worked well. We did not use the dishwasher as we were not going to go buy the dishwashing tablets when we were only staying for five days. Would we stay here again? No, not unless the bed was replaced! It really did make that much of an impact on our enjoyment of the wonderful city of the Florence. I do applaud the owners for the other amenities in their apartment. It's a shame it's ruined by not being able to get a good night's sleep.
