We spent most of our days - when at the property, out on the terrace and in the lovely garden. Hardly indoors at all, also thanks to the weather we had!
The apartment was lovely and clean and really well provided for and the owners are both lovely and so, so helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
The Willows is situated so close to the sea, we felt very smug not having to go into the beach car park and pay! Lovely walks right on the doorstep (yes, literally) and good shops within 10 minutes walk.
Bridport close by for a lovely market (look out for B's stall with fabulous, handmade, sea glass jewellery, gorgeous). Definitely want to be back next year.

Nice house, great location, smells strongly of damp
We arrived in the evening, during a storm, so the first couple of days were very wet but after that we enjoyed some sunshine! The location is beautiful, a couple of minutes walk from the beach. There is a nice enclosed garden which was good for our dog.
The apartment is well equipped and pleasantly cosy. However, upon entering we smelt quite a strong damp smell, so asked to borrow a dehumidifier the next morning, and were promptly provided with one. Over our 5 night stay, it extracted many litres of water, which improved the situation but the damp smell remained. Upon coming home we're having to wash the majority of our clothes, whether we wore them or not, due to the damp smell.
On our second to last night, we heard lots of scratching and scurrying noises in/above the roof of our bedroom, which was rather disturbing. I spoke to Richard the next morning about whether this was a known problem and was informed that it wasn't, but he'd look into it. I also mentioned the damp again, informing him that I'd realised that beneath the sofa cushions there was a very potent damp smell. The same noises happened again on the next night, but I was not asked further about it. We were there with our young children so these issues were particularly concerning to us.
