A couple's paradise in the heart of Lyme Regis moments from the beach
The Bothy is another property that we’ve beautifully renovated throughout, furnished with an exceptional attention to detail and something that we didn’t control but was a key reason to why we purchased this apartment; it’s location is just incredible.
Located in the bustling streets of Lyme Regis’s old town, this well sized, self-catered apartment is everything a couple or single traveller could want when visiting the Dorset coast. The Bothy’s location is one of a kind and the strong green painted exterior really makes this lovely property stand out on the surrounding colourful Coombe Street. With The Town Mill Bakery, The Millside (one of our favourite restaurants) and Lyme Regis’s micro-brewery all less than 50 metres away, you’re spoilt for choice! Being at the bottom of Lyme and on the flattest part of town, the apartment makes it an ideal option for those wanting to avoid hills.
Behind the front door awaits a striking, ground floor, one bedroom apartment with warm colour tones throughout. You’ll step into the combined living, kitchen and dining area which has strong bold orange interiors and plenty of space for two people to feel at home. The Smart TV offers you Netflix and other applications at your fingers tips for cosy nights in. Within this area, you have a well equipped kitchen, a romantic dining table and black rattan chair set, as well as two well sized sofas to relax into. A Nespresso machine, copper ice bucket for bottles of wine, dishwasher, gas hob and oven are few examples of how well this property has been furnished for your getaway to Lyme Regis.
The bedroom offers a comfy double bed with luxurious Morris & Co bed sheets as well as dark orange velvet quilt for the colder evenings on the Dorset coast. The open wardrobe, large chest of drawers and bedside storage offer plenting of space for when you’ve unpacked your bags. The decor and paint finishes are bold in colour and bring warmth to the apartment’s ambiance.
The bathroom has vibrant purple tiles with traditional fixtures and a stylish walk-in shower to rinse off the sand toes, as well as a heated towel rail to warm the lilac John Lewis towels provided. Please note that the bedroom and bathroom are tucked away from the main street and therefore natural light for these bedrooms predominantly comes from the velux window in the bathroom and from the front aspect.
This property is pet friendly so please feel free to bring your fury friend with you. Please contact us if you’re hoping on bringing more than one dog.
