A Perfect Reunion Place

We were a group of 4 couples having a reunion for about a week. The house is perfect for this, having a spacious feel in the lounge, kitchen, dining area and patio. We ate in most nights and enjoyed sitting around the dining table for several hours. The garden is large and well-stocked with a fantastic view of the hills. There are lovely walks from the house across fields to Hawkshead (1.5 miles) and Wray Castle (2 miles). The friendly Outgate Inn is at the end of the drive. Orchard Cottage was perfect for our needs.
