Welcome to our bit of heaven here in Wasdale . If you don't say "Wow" when you arrive and see the view from the Farm House then you will be the first ! We enjoy sharing our bit of heaven with you all and live on the farm site in person or you can contact by phone to assist you with anything you may require. Windsor Farm House is set on the mountainside overlooking the Screes Mountains and down to Wastwater lake a short 5 minute drive away. Scafell is in view from the house and a short drive to the car park for the walk to the summit. Only 5km to the quiet pristine sandy beaches on the Irish Sea. We are a Pure Race Spanish Horse Stud here at Windsor Farm and we have a few Alpacas from Peru along with some Highland Cattle . We were new to holiday let in 2020 and offer a historic 17th century house to the holiday market. This is a peaceful natural place , loud music, drinking in excess and rowdy behaviour is not tolerated or allowed. NO DOGS or pets allowed (including Service Dogs ) as this is an ALLERGY free house. This 1640 built Farm house has amazing character and stunning views of the mountains to the sea even from your inside private hot tub ! Set in a World Heritage Valley it is the most peaceful place you can imagine. Very close to Scafell for top walking experiences and Wastwater Lake for all those activities.
