The tranquillity here is beautiful with the tinkling stream in the garden and lots of wildlife this is a spacious holiday home perfect for relaxing.. All on the Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom: (1 Step), Kingsize (5ft) Bed, French Doors Leading To Patio Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet
Separate Toilet.. Oil central heating (underfloor in conservatory), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Small stream runs through garden. This property has a natural water supply via spring.. Kennel Cottage is a relaxing, tranquil retreat perfect for recharging your batteries for a special holiday or a much-deserved short break. With a small stream running through the garden the wildlife is abundant, Roe deer graze in the fields nearby, badgers and foxes are often spotted, and a small population of otters now reside in the area. The endangered red squirrel is seen here, often in the garden. Many rare bird species are regularly seen with the surrounding countryside home to ravens, peregrine falcons, buzzards and other birds of prey.
There is also a combination of cycle and dog routes directly from the property for those with bikes and furry friends.
Life at Kennel Cottage is relaxed, with sheep grazing in the surrounding fields yet the cottage is only 2 miles from Harbottle with a popular, dog friendly village pub selling great food with a small shop on site. The sunroom is ideal to sit and watch the wildlife in the garden. With comfy sofas in the living room and plenty of space inside the cottage, it is a perfect place to stay.
Set on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, famous for the Dark Sky’s, the largest dark sky park in Europe it is also a great place for star gazing and photography. Just over half an hour from Rothbury with some nice shops and cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Cragside House a popular tourist attraction situated in Rothbury. The Scottish Border can be reached in 30 miles where you can tour and discover some of the historic sites. Alnwick is around 20 miles with its majestic castle, cobbled streets, and the exquisite Duchess enchanting water gardens. Kennel Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the whole of this fabulous, friendly county where you are sure of a warm welcome from the locals. Pub and restaurant 2¼ miles.
