Very spacious, second floor flat with large kitchen, sitting room, dining area, bathroom, balcony and free off-street parking. 15 mins walk from the Wimbledon tennis championships, 3 mins walk from Southfields tube station.
Both bedrooms are a very good size with double beds. The flat has ample storage, dishwasher and washing machine, wifi, freeview TV and balcony. Key-box for easy check-in and check-out.
The flat is my home that I rent it out when I’m abroad, so whilst I’m probably biased, I think it’s great! It's a lovely, quiet residential area with nice cafes and restaurants and with good access to central London.
Southfields tube station is 3 minutes walk from the flat. This is on the district line. There are also buses going towards Clapham Junction (approx 15-20 mins) and also up to Wimbledon Village (approx 10 mins) from the main high street.
Free, off-street parking is available by putting our visitor parking permit in the car on arrival.

Not as ‘fresh’ looking as the photos, but we were there for the Tennis so not that important.
The owner - Hugo - was fantastic. Immediate response if we had questions, and offered recommendations for good spots to dine. We met the cleaning lady, and she was really sweet. I would return.

Thank you so much Marylou. So glad you had a great trip.
The stay was fine and it met our needs for the most part as we were gone much of the day. The bed comfort was good and the linens were nice and clean. It does need a more thorough cleaning overall, the finer details of cleaning are being missed (splatter on the wall in dining room area, dirty surfaces such as plugs, appliances, dishes, etc). Its an easy fix if someone just tackles it. The couch and the carpet have seen better days. The dryer doesn't work. Its a nice place in a nice fairly quiet neighborhood, but needs a few things taken care of to make it 5 star worthy. The state of it for the price I paid is more 3.5 stars (factoring in it being Wimbledon fortnight). Communication with Hugo is excellent. Getting in and out piece of cake.

Many thanks Kate. Feedback noted. I’ll see what we can do. The dryer does work; it just needs to have the water drawer emptied once in a while. Overall I’m glad you had a good stay.
About the host
Your host
I grew up in sunny Sussex by the sea, went to university up north in Durham and have lived in London ever since.
I'm a young professional who runs a London based education business that focuses on social & emotional wellbeing in primary school children.
I really enjoy hosting as it seems such a shame for a place to remain empty when I'm off on my travels!
Why they chose this property
Southfields is a lovely, quiet, residential area with a cute little high street that has everything you need. I've lived here for about 10 years and am very happy. I can easily walk to the tube and shops in 3 mins and love walking or running in Wimbledon Common which is about 15 mins walk.
What makes this property unique
It's light, secure, warm, big for a two bed flat and in a very convenient position.
