This single-storey detached lodge enjoys lovely views and includes a private hot tub and separate games rooms for guests to enjoy.. 7 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Smart TV, Netflix, Woodburner, Patio Doors Leading To Garden
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Gas Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Air source underfloor central heating, gas, electricity from solar panels, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included.. External games room. Enclosed decking and gravel area with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Hot tub for 6 (private). 3 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Set within the owners’ working sheep and cattle farm in an elevated position to take in the stunning rural views. The lodge has private parking below the property from which there is an uphill walk and then approximately 6 steps to the front door, opening directly into the spacious open plan living space. Patio doors lead out onto a beautiful balcony area with spectacular views up the valley, and is the perfect space for relaxing with a glass of your favourite tipple as you watch the sun go down.
Nearby there are walks aplenty for the more active, and many open gardens to explore including Hergest Croft Gardens in nearby Kington. There is also the small breeds animal park, also situated just outside Kington which younger visitors will be able to enjoy all year round. Kington also provides guests with pubs and restaurants to enjoy as well as a number of takeaway restaurants if you are looking to enjoy a night in.
The property is just 13 miles from the popular town of Hay-on-Wye which is famous for its many book shops and annual Hay Festival, which attracts many visitors each year, including many celebrity faces. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Offa’s Dyke Lodge (UK10835) can be booked together with Red Kite Lodge (UK32610) and Larchwood Lodge (UK42917) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
