Guests will love this stone-built cottage which is nestled in a quiet and peaceful village surrounded by glorious hills and within easy access to the stunning Lake District.. 2 steps to entrance.

Enter the property via a small porch welcoming you through into the living room, where you are greeted with a light, airy space offering the ideal area to put up your feet and cosy up in front of the log effect fire. Moving into the kitchen/dining area there is everything you need for creating either a culinary delight or a simple sandwich. It’s a great space to sit with family or friends and talk about the day’s events.
With Black Combe Hill being the main focal point of Kirkby in Furness, the village is quiet and peaceful. The area is great for families with small children, for birdwatchers, walkers, and cyclists. A range of abilities are catered for. A circular walk from your front door takes in an array of farmyard animals. Drop down to Foxfield to experience a panoramic view of the spectacular hill range. Take a seat at Wallend, just a stone’s throw from the cottage, where the details of the fells and crags are immortalised in bronze and the sun sets every night.
