if you want to be close to the action in Nice, this is the spot. Located on Plaza Messena, you are walking distance to the beach, tons of restaurants, shopping, museums, and the train station. The unit is quiet, clean, has air conditioning and a washing machine. Our host was fantastic communicating with us and even helped us with a transportation issue. we enjoyed staying here and appreciated how roomy the accomodations were. For 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was priced fairly. it truly met all of our needs

Heart of Nice

Wonderful 2 bedroom flat convenient to everything. Was quiet at night for sleeping, but open the doors to the balcony in the day and you can see the bustle and sights of town. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Great location

Loved the location, near the sea & old city! Many good restaurants near by, highly recommend Peixes for seafood! Place did show a little wear & tear, but was fine overall. Was thankful for the elevator when moving luggage!

Great location.

We enjoyed our stay in Nice. Walking distance to unlimited gelato choices and the beach. Live music in the square was so pleasant every night. Not loud when your indoors but wonderful to sit outside and listen at night.

Perfect Location

The apt. was ideally located facing the Place Massena. Within a few minutes’ walk, we could reach the Promenade des Anglais, the Old Town and the shopping district. We could see all of the Nice Carnival activities from our window — no need to even buy a ticket! The response time to our requests was fairly prompt. The apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious. We had problems with both the TV and the air conditioning. Both were eventually resolved, but the A/C filters were filthy and needed replacing and the TV had not been set up properly with working batteries. These are things that should be reviewed and taken care of before every new tenant moves in.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We’re really glad you enjoyed the location on Place Masséna and that you could watch the Nice Carnival directly from the window — it’s a very special time in the city. We’re also happy to hear that you found the apartment comfortable and spacious. We also appreciate you mentioning the responsiveness of our team — we always do our best to assist our guests as quickly as possible. Thank you as well for your comments about the TV and the air conditioning, which we have taken into account to improve the experience for future guests. We hope to welcome you again in Nice soon.

Fantastic Location in Nice, With A Weird Caveat

Perhaps the most important bit first: the location is *fantastic*. The apartment overlooks a lovely square, and is steps from both Old Nice and the beach. There are restaurants everywhere in the area, and a number of boulangeries and patisseries, as well. The beds are comfortable (and legit kings), and the shower has plenty of hot water and great water pressure. There's also a small elevator up to the apartment, which is nice when you have bags or have spent the whole day walking all over Nice and don't feel like climbing a few flights of stairs. Having a laundry machine is fantastic, although Americans should be warned that it's a combined washer/dryer that can take awhile. Our two complaints about the place were: (1) While the bed and shower are great, for some reason they only provide three small, uncomfortable pillows (for two king beds?) and three cheap towels. No hand towels, even. This seems somewhat bizarrely frugal for a 2 bedroom / 2.5 bath place. For one night, it might not have been a big deal, but as we were there for almost a week it became increasingly irritating. This is probably the major reason I'd thought about dropping this review to a 4. (2) The check-in process is fairly smooth, but does require a bit of a detour when coming from the airport. We had to go to a hotel, pick up an envelope, and then walk (with bags) about 0.5 miles to the actual apartment. After a long flight, it felt like a bit much.
