Great location and beautiful, very spacious house - had everything we needed and a lovely garden too. Perfect to walk into Whitby or Sandsend on the cliff paths or along the beach. Close to well stocked Costcutter shop if needed and Lidl is close by too. Spacious drive and quiet cul de sac. Gorgeous sea views

Lovely break in Whitby.
Lovely break in Whitby. We booked this cottage last minute and it was a great find located on a residential street right on the seafront just 10 mins walk to the west cliff attractions and 15 mins or so into town. The images don’t really show how close the sea is and the fantastic view from some of the front rooms of the house. 4 bedrooms and 3 shower/bathrooms plus extra toilet we were spoilt for space. The house is really well equipped with everything you would need and is generally very comfortable. Washing up equipment dishwasher tablets, hand wash and body wash and toilet paper provided in all toilets/ bathrooms was really helpful. Would only make a couple of tweaks to the place as otherwise it was great. downstairs shower room door was tricky to open lock needs adjusting. Downstairs bedroom felt very cool compared to the rest of the house, there was an electric heater to use but as was summer we didn’t bother. Fair few cobwebs around and some spiders scared my daughter in bedroom. Blind in smaller front bedroom let in too much light could do with curtains in addition to this. We loved the space of the house and comfort and the fantastic location and would recommend for anyone wishing to visit Whitby hopefully we can come back some day soon.

We had a wonderful time.
We had a wonderful time. Such a quirky and comfortable home and very well equipped. An excellent location for the beach and going up and down the hilly paths will get you fit. Some of the double glazing units need replacing as water is trapped inside, but it did t bother us at all. We will definitely return

Warm and comfortable, feels like a much loved home.
Warm and comfortable, feels like a much loved home. Very good location with a sea view from several windows. One small query we had was quickly resolved with a text message. Lots of pots and pans, good quality towels and bedding and all very clean. Folders containig info on house as well as local area were much appreciated. Property is dog friendly with plenty of bowls etc if forgotten, lots of handy walks to exercise dog. A 20 minute walk into centre of Whitby, local supermarket round corner plus a couple of takeaways. This house is excellent and provides spacious accomodation even for a group of 8, with 4 large bedrooms, sufficient toilets/showers baths and lots of lounging spce to be able to find a quiet corner.
