Over the centuries, the historic character of the building was maintained as it became a hostelry including a unique brewery, pub, a hotel and more latterly a Bed and Breakfast. The property has been significantly refurbished and upgraded, to now be presented as a luxury home with an enhanced specification and all modern amenities. Outside, there is a glorious and historic cave that has been around since the Saxon times, which has been built into the cliff face. It houses an astro-turfed relaxing area and bar facilities.
Located in the heart of Bridgnorth town overlooking The River Severn and next door to the world-famous cliff railway, the property offers guests a comfortable, stylish and luxurious place to stay. The property is a 5-minute walk from all High Town and Low Town amenities with an array of shops, bars and restaurants, including The Severn Valley Railway and visitor centre.
Blists Hill Victorian Town museum is also set nearby. Bridgnorth is fortunate to have many attractions scattered around its luscious countryside. You can have an unforgettable time travelling by steam railway. Just a short car journey takes you to the world-famous Ironbridge and its popular museums, The Royal Air Force Museum and Boscobel House. A few miles upstream of Bridgnorth is Shrewsbury, England’s finest Tudor town, which has one of the best waterfronts, a wide variety of shops, bars and a riverside theatre. Attingham Park, Benthall Hall, Dudmaston Hall, Rays Farm Country Matters, Much Wenlock, West Midland Safari Park, Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow are also well worth a visit.
Bridgnorth is also very well placed for excellent fishing and many golf courses.

An excellent 4 night stay for 7 ‘old’ university friends .
An excellent 4 night stay for 7 ‘old’ university friends . Individual bedrooms and plenty of en-suite bathrooms. Massive kitchen diner for a hub with great lounge and basement games area ,all perfect for the lads. Superb local walks and refreshment facilities. Great communication from the local team . It couldn’t be much better . Book it now!
Bringing together our family for the first time in several years it was important to have a high quality location.
No 3 provided that and more with luxurious surroundings, plush bedrooms and superb amount of accessories.
The games room made the house with a retreat to allow the children to sleep soundly in the evening.
The location was also great meaning only one car trip during our 5 day stay - recreation and shops all on the doorstep.
