Pet friendly lakeside cottage with private hot tub, onsite golf course & cafe

Our beautiful self-catering cottages are set in tranquil rural surroundings over-looking the lakes that surround the 12th green on our 18 hole golf course.

When you stay with us you can simply enjoy the beautiful countryside views and walks that surround our gorgeous cottages . Soak up the tranquil environment while you relax in the garden and watch the sun set over the lake on your doorstep.
Our friendly clubhouse boasts a gorgeous little cafe (The Coffee Cup), where you can enjoy some of our scrummy homemade cakes, sandwiches and soups, this also couples with a fully licensed bar .
A must if you visit us here is The Plough in Bolnhurst just a stones throw from the cottage – a fantastic countryside restaurant that attracts diners from far and wide.

As hoped for and more.

The holiday home was spacious and had all we needed and more. The rooms were comfortable with a functional living room. Any queries were responded quickly and there was a delicious cake in the fridge when we arrived! The hot-tub was a great extra.

Beautiful cottage situated on a stunning location. Made very welcome by Julie and Tilly who can't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend especially if you like your golf or fishing

Our family of five spent a week over new Year in Clive's cottage. It is very well equipped and there was ample space for all of us. Set on a Golf Course it was very peaceful and relaxing. Its location is also very convenient for visiting all the nearby tourist attractions. The staff were also very polite and helpful

Quiet cottage on a beautiful golf course

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The fully equipped cottage is situated next to a small pond on the golf course that provides bucolic views. The main lounge area opens up to a small fenced garden area allowing enjoyment of the clean air. There is also a small, reasonably priced restaurant across the parking lot. We especially enjoyed the delicious surprise on the table upon arrival!

Clean,& reasonable comfortable,with good golf !

Lounge Area a bit small for 4, Television also on the small side, a big one on the end wall would have been fab as Wimbledon week ! The fridge also a bit small struggled to keep much in it. Lovely setting and we throughly enjoyed the golf , though weather was a little on the dull/windy side to make the most of the garden area !

Lovely well equipped cottage

Three bedroomed cottage - all bedrooms roomy with good storage space. The kitchen / lounge a little on the small side, but still sufficient for our family of 5. Very well equipped kitchen, so good for self catering. Could have done with a few more mugs, but other than that great. Plenty of nice touches including a great big cake, tea, coffee & milk on arrival. Good fishing to be had right outside which was a big plus for my husband. Definitely be visiting again.

Not your typical golf course, everyone is welcome at Colmworth - with dog walks from the doorstep, a cafe just a stones throw away serving homemade cakes and local produce.

What makes this property unique

Not only do we boast stunning views, we're planet friendly too!
The cottages are heated by a renewable energy source - biomass boiler, we use local small businesses to supply our cafe and cottages - including the super "fill re-fill" house collection. Our linen is all washed with re-fill products and line dried wherever possible.
