About this property
Peak District luxury cottage sleeping five with stunning National Park views
Sitting within the stunning Peak District National Park, Nadin Cottage offers a luxury escape. Part of the award-winning Wheeldon Trees retreat, this idyllic country cottage has been recognised as one of the top 10% of places to stay worldwide on TripAdvisor.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a new vintage-style bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. There is a new oak floor with underfloor heating and a luxury deep pile carpet on the stairs and mezzanine bedroom.
The cottage sleeps five in total across three bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a single and a double bedroom. The double bedroom leads onto a private patio with the most amazing views. A further mezzanine floor has two single beds.
The middle floor of the cottage has under floor heating and features an open-plan living area, with a kitchen and dining for five. The kitchen has built-in appliances, granite work surfaces and a waste disposal system. The lounge area has a wall-mounted smart TV and Alexa.
Wheeldon Trees provides total tranquillity. The retreat boasts an array of amenities, including a well-stocked honesty shop filled with treats, Wi-Fi, an office you can use at any time, Voltshare EV charging and electric bikes for exploring the picturesque countryside. The children’s play area and games room ensure entertainment for all ages.
To enhance your stay, indulge in a pampering wellness treatment from The Feelgood Pamper Company, brought directly to your cottage.
For dining, two local pubs, the Royal Oak and the Packhorse Inn, offer delicious food and a warm atmosphere. We recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends. For coffee and cake we suggest the High Peak Bookstore and for the best ice cream you will ever taste, try Tagg Lane Gelato.
As your hosts, Hazel and Steve, we're just a short drive away in Ashbourne and are on hand to assist if you need us. We've taken care of the essentials, providing a welcome tote filled with tea, coffee, butter, milk, eggs and sweet treats.
Escape the ordinary and immerse yourself in the extraordinary at Wheeldon Trees.

The Peak District National Park is stunning. If you love cosy cottages, bracing walks, top tastic country pubs and gorgeous countryside, Wheeldon Trees Cottages is for you.
What makes this property unique
We’ve tried our best to ensure all you need to do is turn up. Our sheets are Egyptian cotton, our towels are fluffy and white. From olive oil in the kitchen to luxury toiletries hand-made locally for us, we have tried to think of everything. We love travelling ourselves, so all we have done is try to cover everything we would need. Add in historic chocolate-box cottages and stunning scenery – we think we have the perfect Peak District spot.
