We unexpectedly spent more time at Little Vintners as our circumstances changed. This was no hardship as the accommodation was perfect in everyway. Everyrthing we needed was provided which was a real blessing. Lovely bedding, amazing shower, all the kitchen equipment you would need and more.
It was a very much appreciated touch to discover there was very nice coffee, tea, biscuits, bread and delicious jam in the kitchen.
The garden and surrounding area is peaceful and we enjoyed watching the squirrels chasing each other and the birds serenading us.
Thoroughly enjoyable stay

A Fantastically Comfortable Country Retreat
Stayed at Little Vintners for a couple of weeks whilst moving down to start a new job and would highly recommend it. Wonderfully quiet, rural location with delightful hosts who are both friendly but also respectful of your space and privacy. The property itself is superbly comfortable and cosy and is appointed to a very high standard.
A huge grass garden is yours to explore as you wish or, alternatively, just keep an eye on the squirrels and woodpeckers.

Thank you Little Vintners For Bridging The Gap Perfectly
We stayed at Little Vintners awaiting the completion of our house in Thakeham having sold both our homes with all our possessions in storage. We stayed for 7weeks in this little well equipped haven hideaway.
The tranquility , privacy and surroundings of LV was perfect for us to recover from the moves . Lovely grounds , a beautiful outlook , birds , foxes ,badgers and deer visited . Lots of local walks and 3 local vineyards on the doorstep . A place to relax , read and recharge.
Internally the kitchen had everything we needed and more .
Great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher and new induction hob. Table , chairs and sofa (sofa bed )with patio doors completed the downstairs. Having a downstairs loo and washbasin was a great advantage from other similar properties .
Upstairs - plenty of wardrobe space on the gallery and cosy bedroom and stylish wet room suited our needs.
Alain and Julian - who live on site , were respectful hosts providing us with high end amenities and the comforts of home from home.
A perfect retreat for friends and couples. Highly recommended for long or short breaks .

Peaceful stay in a delightful place
We spent a week here in a hot dry summer. We didn't suffer from the heat as the house is well oriented. The house is well designed and the renovation has been done to very high standards, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. I enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen.
The house is decorated with attention paid to details. Very pleasant to relax indoors.
The garden is secluded and very peaceful.
The neighbourhood is blessed with a network of footpaths which allowed us to walk in beautiful and diverse countryside right from the door.
The property is well-managed and all useful information is quickly accessible.
We had a great stay.
