Nestled within the charming coastal village of Holme-next-the-Sea yet tucked away down a quiet lane, character property Cricketer’s Cottage is the type of house that will give you a big hug when you arrive. Traditionally furnished and decorated in a quaint charming character cottage manner, a perfect home from home. Boasting a lovely, gated cottage garden (perfect for four legged friends) and a wood burner in the sitting room, it is the perfect choice for all seasons and weather.

At the ground floor you have a separate kitchen and dining room, then leading to the cosy beamed sitting room with inglenook and wood burner, relax in front of the television which has Netflix.

On the first floor you have the family bathroom (separate shower and bath), a double bedroom, and family bedroom with a double bed, and a single bed.

Up the narrow and steep stairs off the large bedroom is the loft room; this has Velux windows with views of the fields of cows behind Cricketer’s cottage.

In the pretty cottage garden, is a summer annexe. This houses an L shaped sofa bed (double) and French doors to the garden and a further bathroom- with walk-in shower, toilet and washing machine. Enjoy morning coffee in the garden or al fresco dining at the garden table.

We are dog friendly and welcome your four legged friend at Cricketer’s. The garden is gated, and there is an abundance of walks outside your doorstep. The beach in Holme also welcomes dogs all year round.

Sitting between Thornham and Hunstanton, the pretty village of Holme-Next-The-Sea has a stunning nature reserve, beach and award winning pub and bakery. From Cricketer’s you can walk to the White Horse village pub and bakery, stop here for a morning coffee and pastry before a beach walk or a cosy pub meal by the fire. The next door village Thornham hosts an abundance of pubs, a deli and beautiful walks. Brancaster is just 8 miles away, a pretty, coastal village with great sailing, and walks to the nature reserve. Snettisham a few miles down the coast, a must for birdwatching; hosts The Spectacular and often appears on Country File. For all your local produce needs pop to Drove Orchard and Thornham Deli both are just a stones throw away from Cricketer’s. Wells-Next-The-Sea for quaint shops and stunning beach with pretty beach huts. The area is also littered with sites of historical significance including the Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates, Castle Acre and Castle Rising, Peckover House and the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn.

Nature lovers will find all sorts of visitors right there in the garden, listen for the resident barn owl in the evening, or see hares at the top of the hill by Cricketer’s. RSPB Titchwell and Snettisham is nearby and Cley 45 minutes away. Take a trip to Sandringham House, the magnificent holiday home of the Royal Family since 1861, just a short drive away.

Lovely hideaway within a walk to the pub.Quirky and old fashioned is it's thing..Sleeps four comfortably, but problematic with more I think.For the two us, very good.
