The cottage sits in the yard of the owner's house, just five minute walk from the beach. Shop 200yds, Pubs and restaurant 200yds, championship golf course 400yds. Plenty of local birdwatching.Please note all bookings on availability calendar are for 7 to Friday.

Excellent location , only a 2 minute walk to the beach , and a lovely craft and vintage shop . Plenty of places for a drink and a meal , all within walking distance . Rose cottage is an excellent base to travel to other areas of Norfolk with plenty of parking at the front . We enjoyed our stay and our dog loved it ! We would love to stay again

This cottage is quaint and in a perfect position for beaches and the small village. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and lovely cafe for breakfast and snacks.

Lovely seaside stay

We had a lovely long weekend at Rosemary's cottage. The location is incredible, its a really short walk down a quiet road and you are on a beautiful beach. The nearby pubs were a bonus. The cottage was as described/pictured, really sweet and great value for money. We would definitely recommend/book again.

Myself,my wife and our dog Bono had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage. It suited all of our needs. The beach was a short walk away as was the Mariner Pub. Our bed was very comfortable. Wi-fi was good. Very happy with our choice of accomodation.More than happy ro recommend.

Rose cottage annex is in a great location just a short walk to the beach and a couple of pubs. It was clean and comfortable and all we needed for a few days by the sea. Only negative is the shower is handheld over the bath with no shower curtain and the temperature wasn’t easy to regulate

Ideal cottage for a beach holiday, only 2 mins from the beach. Clean and tidy, perhaps a bit dated but that should not distract from the cottage. Plenty of parking which is a huge bonus as parking difficult, especially during the summer season. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay stay

Beautiful cottage

We have stayed at rose cottage a few times now, we love the location 5 mins walk to the lovely beach of old Hunstanton. Rosemary and Gerry are lovely and you are made very welcome, Rosemary always has milk and biscuits waiting for us. The cottage itself has a lot of character, we look forward to stay again.

I recommend rose cottage

We were very pleased with the property, off road parking and it was in a lovely area. The host was delightful and very helpful and was very popular with our dogs as she had lots of dog biscuits to hand. The enclosed courtyard/garden was great with lovely hanging baskets and tubs dotted around.

Pint of milk, one tea bag, half small jar of sugar, quarter jar of coffee. No cleaning material it was all inadequate, as we like to clean before we leave, hubby hoovered throughout and cleaned bath, we left it smelling lovely.

I was born at rose cottage,my father being the village baker.The holiday cottage was origanaly the bakehouse.In 1984 my husband and I purchased the main house and bakehouse from the Le Strange estate.Both properties were completley gutted and renovated.My father lived in the cottage until his death in 1988,since then it has been a very popular holiday home.A walk down the lane will take you onto our beutiful golden sandy beach.I am one of only a few natives remaining in the village as our surrounding have,because of its beuty,become a haven for second home buyers.How privalidged I am to have spent a lifetime at rose cottage.

Why they chose this property

We bought the cottage so as to care for my father and we felt it was a wonderful place to raise our three children.The lovely beaches and country walks never failed to amuse us.

What makes this property unique

The location of the cottage means you can park your car in the cottage yard,cross the road for your early morning paper, catch the coastline bus outside the main property, walk down the lane to the beach,walk up or down the lane to pubs and places to eat. A walk to the main town of new Hunstanton is only a mile away, along the coastle road,along the beach beneath the carstone cliffs or above the cliffs on the cliff walk.
