We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy cottage , rosemary the host is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble for her, we have stayed many times and hope to return .
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how cozy and inviting the place was. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and had all the comforts of home. The kitchen area was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The location was peaceful and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities . We particularly enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and easy 3 minute walking access to the beach. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, leaving us milk biscuits tea coffee etc and providing helpful information about the local area. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
Ideal cottage for a beach holiday, only 2 mins from the beach. Clean and tidy, perhaps a bit dated but that should not distract from the cottage. Plenty of parking which is a huge bonus as parking difficult, especially during the summer season. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay stay
This cottage is quaint and in a perfect position for beaches and the small village. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and lovely cafe for breakfast and snacks.
Lovely old fashioned cosy cottage . Has everything you need in a great area. Do not expect modern fixtures, but very clean and comfortable, owner’s lovely, and very dog friendly. All the little extras provided ( towels , kitchen towel, toilet paper, dish cloths and soap) Even had a pint of fresh milk and a packet of chocolate biscuits, plus the dogs got a biscuit. The beach is great and we had beautiful weather ( infact too hot for the dogs to be walking on the pavement) However the cottage stayed cool . Would definitely stay again. Only point to consider is no shower. (Bath is a lovely treat) but the hand held shower is hard to manage, water either very hot or cold .
Thanks to the owner,Rosemary, for a wonderful stay in her holiday cottage - for the warm welcome and send off - the biscuits and milk and dog treats. Had a peaceful few days away in such a lovely location. Huge thanks.
We were very pleased with the property, off road parking and it was in a lovely area. The host was delightful and very helpful and was very popular with our dogs as she had lots of dog biscuits to hand. The enclosed courtyard/garden was great with lovely hanging baskets and tubs dotted around.
Lovely location and good facilities, within walking distance to Old Hunstanton Beach, with lovely hospitality from the owner Rosemary. Would highly recommend a stay and will be booking again.

The garden is secure and lovely to relax in , pet friendly with off road parking . Beautiful beach not too far away and places to eat within walking distance . Local shop for essential provisions. About the host

I was born at rose cottage,my father being the village baker. The holiday cottage was origanaly the bakehouse. In 1984 my husband and I purchased the main house and bakehouse from the Le Strange estate. Both properties were completley gutted and renovated. My father lived in the cottage until his death in 1988,since then it has been a very popular holiday home.A walk down the lane will take you onto our beutiful golden sandy beach.I am one of only a few natives remaining in the village as our surrounding have, because of its beuty, become a haven for second home buyers. How privalidged I am to have spent a lifetime at rose cottage.
Why they chose this property
We bought the cottage so as to care for my father and we felt it was a wonderful place to raise our three children. The lovely beaches and country walks never failed to amuse us.
What makes this property unique
The location of the cottage means you can park your car in the cottage yard, cross the road for your early morning paper, catch the coastline bus outside the main property, walk down the lane to the beach, walk up or down the lane to pubs and places to eat. A walk to the main town of new Hunstanton is only a mile away, along the coastle road, along the beach beneath the carstone cliffs or above the cliffs on the cliff walk.
