We had a lovely stay at Crinkum, plenty to see and do in the area, walks from the house including one to the beach in 20 minutes. Plenty of birds and wildlife to spot with near by wildlife sanctuaries. Castles and houses to visit a bit further afield. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. We were three separate households from one family and there was plenty of room and facilities. We would return if we wanted to be in the area again

A great base for bird watching. Really enjoyed our stay. Can thoroughly recommend this property. Kitchen was very well equipped and we appreciated the welcome pack and the Christmas tree.

Crinkum is a lovely spacious house with a nice back garden backing on to a field beyond.

Crinkum is a lovely spacious house with a nice back garden backing on to a field beyond. The steps to the upper lawn could do with a handrail as they are quite precipitous to negotiate. The cottage is on the main coastal road which runs through the village of Titchwell, so it is a bit noisy during the day but is very quiet at night. There were some cleanliness issues and the absence of an information folder was annoying. Visitors need to know how to contact a doctor or dentist in an emergency, where the nearest supermarket or pub is, how far is the nearest beach, which is the best beach for dogs, where are the best walks etc. etc. There was a basket of leaflets about various things to do, places to visit but this is different from an information folder for guests. The location of the house is great for visiting beaches, the local bird reserve (Titchwell bird reserve run by the RSPB) and the many historic houses, including Sandringham. The beds were extremely comfortable. Certain items need to be added to the contents - a mop and bucket, and kitchen scissors (vital) come to mind! Notwithstanding the things mentioned above, we enjoyed our week and overall, were very comfortable.
